@Willeke are you there? I want to make a carricks bend and then chase the working end through it three times. I am getting frustrated with it, do you know of a guide for chasing the working end through a carricks bend?
@GayotFow one way to do it is to make a turks head knot, youtube.com/watch?v=zMZ3LhKYRSQ "this video" seems to show the basic knot and the start of doubling (chasing round) well, basically just keep to one side.
If you do not want to go round to the mat but work with two separate strands it works the same, stay to one side of the original string. I would go for all on the outside or for all on the inside when working with all for ends of the carrick bend available.
@Willeke Thank you for the link, I will consume it immediately. My problem is that I lose track of which bight goes where and it's massively frustrating :( But I can now tie the carricks bend without a video or help :)
@GayotFow hey there, what's this about bargaining trips on private planes ? :)
usually close votes ask to narrow down the scope, not expand
the linked question does provide a lot of tips but it's more specific to marketplaces whereas I was looking for something that could include accommodations and rides as well
