Q: 決着 (keri or kecchaku)

Williem F.This word 「決着」 (settlement/conclusion) is read as けっちゃく. Though lately, I've been digging into some more comics and noticed that there's another reading being used: ケリ. For example: これが最後【さいご】だ。決着【ケリ】を付けよう【つけよう】じゃねぇか。 いくぞ。ここで決着【ケリ】を付けて【つけて】やる。 Is this a new reading because I don't see it in...

The kecchaku romanization looks so weird to me.

I guess it's because you can type kecchaku to get けっちゃく.

Though my habit is to type kettyaku instead.

@oals It's usually said that there is no conversion from を to の in Standard Japanese: meijigakuin.ac.jp/~hiraiwa/PDF/Hiraiwa_NGC_JK10.pdf But it has also been claimed that there is some limited conversion from を to の in Kansai Japanese: igg41.unistrapg.it/abstract/Inoue.pdfsnailplane ♦ 8 hours ago
I didn't know that. I always treated ga-no and wo-no as happening equally, and I don't have any particular exposure to the Kansai dialects.
Unless you count reading ちょこれ〜と's writings here on the chat.

って書いてあるんですけど、
「已然形の「咲け」の「け」と命令形の「咲け」の「け」の音とが別の音」って、どう違ったんでしょう?
母音が違ったんでしょうか
どういう風に違ったんでしょうか

No, not incorrect; but omitting it is considered feminine. (But do remember that putting だ after an i-adjective is ungrammatical.) — oals 11 mins ago
I fear that comment'll get misunderstood that おいしくなさそう is an i-adjective (since おいしい is) ... but I can't gather my thoughts enough to write something explanatory.
Hope whoever answers that will cover it.
