I just updated 4 broken links on this answer: japanese.stackexchange.com/a/11832/1478

I found the first two images by looking on archive.org, but I couldn't find the third. Then I noticed that the link to NINJAL was broken too, but when I found the new link to the same page, I was able to find the source of the images and fix everything :-)

I noticed that the answer links to the second edition of An Introduction to Japanese Linguistics. I wonder if I should update it to point to the third?

I guess I might as well, since it doesn't have a page number.

(I don't actually have the 3rd edition, but I don't see any reason to direct people to the 2nd anymore)

"We hope (会社名)'s English teaching materials will benefit positively for both your teaching and students' learning experiences." って
あってんの?
benefit for~~ ってあり?

ネイティブではないんですけど、「benefit for」はないと思います。「will positively influence both your teaching and your students' learning experience」や「will benefit both your teaching...」のほうがいいと思います。(「learning experiences」もないと思います)その「English teaching materials」はダメかもよ^^
@Schokolade (your teaching and students' learning experienceもあまりよくないかもしれません)
(benefit positivelyもちょっとおかしいです。benefit negativelyはないんで)

I don't understand this question. I understand it even less because the answer doesn't at all address what I thought the question asked for. Still it got three upvotes and was accepted. I'm obviously missing something...

Q: 仮名 - Japanese syllabary or a character of such, but what is behind this 熟語 spelling?

Bouzu Harinezumi仮名 is known as Japanese syllabary character, but how are the meanings of composing kanjis related to the sense of "kana"?
