A: Use of と and meaning of 色々 in this sentence

I am posting this as an answer, as I received a complaining comment from istrasci. ------------- snip, snip, snip ------------ 色々と = various, all kinds of. お母さん = mother (of course!) In this case she addresses herself "mother" rather than "I / me" to emphasise that she is extremely irritated....

Nor in my area, in fact I'm so shy in real life that even if I were to meet a japanese person on the street I wouldn't have the balls to talk to them

I won;t hesitate if I know some japanese.

a lot of people are interested in english or any foreign language

try things like lang8 or penpals

websites for knowing people who speak languages and correcting each other's language skills

I'd start with hiragana because it's more used

If you're the type of guy who learns with videos, youtube is filled with them

But really, the time I learned the most was thanks to having japanese friends over skype and stuff. We'd have group calls which was fun
