@Nafkamina Silver Spring had a restaurant called Girsa Deyankusa?
@DoubleAA I was about to reply to @IsaacMoses 's chat message with "...if it has net upvotes" when I saw your message with the same but attributing to me something different. Huh.

7:59 AM
@msh210 uh no? My girsa deyankusa is the old danky pizza shop in SS. As opposed to the supposedly cleaner newer shop called ben yehuda pizza shop. Thus my affinity for the older shop
I'm assuming my one downvote is from a disgruntled chossid...

A: Why do the Chassidim require explicit mention?

NafkaminaOf course they are all there! The Litvaks are referred to as Al HaTzaddikim "The Correct Ones" The Sefardim are Al Pleitat Beit Sofreihem in reference to the many books Rav Ovadia Yosef wrote.

I don't see why judaism.stackexchange.com/a/55647 (Hedley, +5/−1, and the downvote is mine) is a better answer than judaism.stackexchange.com/a/55739 (GTA, +0/−5 and mod-deleted). cc @IsaacMoses (who helped delete the latter).
@Nafkamina I was kidding.
And now I have the theme song from Blazing Saddles in my head.
from 59 seconds in.

Has anyone ever flown Aeroflot? Through Moscow. Coming from Tel Aviv

@Nafkamina Yes.

@msh210 What was the second?

@Scimonster It said only "I guess people are talking about this black dude from gta 5".
Seems very similar to "I guess you don't recall Hedley Lamarr from the movie 'Blazing Saddles'"

@msh210 Oh, right. The deleted one didn't even name whoever it was.

@Scimonster v'chen lamar

@msh210 what was your experience with them?

@Nafkamina With whom or what?

Aeroflot with a wife and kid flying from Tel Aviv with connection to NY

I have no experience with Aeroflot with a wife and kid flying from Tel Aviv with connection to NY.

8:47 AM
What experience with them do you have

@Nafkamina I have no experience with Aeroflot at all. You asked only "Has anyone ever flown Aeroflot? Through Moscow. Coming from Tel Aviv" and the correct answer is "Yes".

Oh so your just being super literal. Thank you for your help...

@Nafkamina Yes. Sorry, I thought I was being humorous.
> "Well, everything you told me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to make of your information, and the fact is I am still lost. Frankly, you've not been much help so far."

Right
I'm trying to make a ticket for pesach and I'm trying to feel out Jewish experiences with Aeroflot. As I have had horrific experience with aerosvit
Do you know where I can a discussion of vchen l'Emor or vchen l'mar
I have heard such a distinction

@IsaacMoses That too.
@Nafkamina I've never heard of "vchen l'Emor".

@msh210 I added a downvote. The answer is off-topic and not even funny.

@IsaacMoses For those that don't quite get the joke: explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/169:_Words_that_End_in_GRY

@Yishai I take exception to that explanation. "Cueball" did get the joke wrong, but his main sin isn't that; it's "communicating badly and then acting smug when you're misunderstood."

Q: Love Shalom but Kill Shalom?

NafkaminaThe mishna says in pirkei avos הוי מתלמידיו של אהרן, אוהב שלום ורודף שלום, However as is well known it is assur to be a rodef! Also how is it even possible in practice? The minute someone sees me being rodef shalom they'll either injury me or kill me! Furthermore, how is it possible to love ...

wasn't there a way to see a user's previous nickname?

I finally figured out why Alex left
So his rep gain would slow down enough so he can chase shalom
After a year and a half of inactivity, Alex now finally trails two people. I guess he's a Baal Teshuva. — Daniel 2 mins ago
