Q: How should we ask for improvements to questions and answers?

Monica CellioSometimes we get a question or answer that is unclear or leaves out important details, and people comment to elicit improvements. Sometimes that works well (and the post gets improved); other times there are complaints that we're overly critical. How do we do more of the former and less of the ...

@IsaacMoses I don't get it: Why the title change?
@YeZ Yep.

@msh210 It made the HNQ, but with a very bland title. I incorporated more of the question into the title to make it more descriptive and therefore interesting to HNQ-watchers. Result (well, I can't be sure how much the title is responsible for): View count now 1700+ and counting. Q: What good is that? A: Some of those people may click on something and learn a little about kashrut laws or mitzva classification.
... No, I'm not planning to make a habit of clickbaitifying our titles.

@IsaacMoses I wouldn't mind if you did make a habit out if it. At least fir my questions

Q: Can't argue with that? Who said?

NafkaminaThere is a famous Jewish adage "על טעם ועל ריח אין להתווכח". However, amazingly, one can find a plethora of disagreements in the Talmud and Halachic works whether reicha lav milsa hi or if ta'am is k'ikar. How do these arguments square with this rule? This question is Purim Torah and is not in...

A: Is Double AA on-topic?

Double AAAs Cnsersmoit notes, Jewish individuals are off topic. What we can conclude from this is non-Jewish individuals are on topic. @MonicaCellio Thanks for the speaking tips! and the wolf
@Nafkamina Not yet, but now, I'll keep an eye out for him.

A: Does the oven have eyes and a nose?

Isaac KotlickyPoint of order - We often talk about Pi hatanur, so we have direct reference to an oven having a mouth.
