@Scimonster (Just catching up with chat backread.) When I click "edit" for that message, a U+007F symbol shows up in my textarea. So it's not empty -- though I've no idea how the U+007F got there.
@msh210 @MonicaCellio @DoubleAA could we please have a "protect" on this question? It's a HNQ (surprise surprise), and I would not be at all surprised if it attracts undue politically-motivated attention, including over Shabbat.
@IsaacMoses yes, definitely. Especially with the timing. I sure don't want to come back from Shabbat to find us hosting a bunch of hate-spew. Protection doesn't prevent that, but it impedes it.
I'm having trouble seeing how this answers the question, beyond the first word ("no") which is an unsupported assertion. Even if what you say about destroying the terrorists is correct, why would that preclude also destroying their houses? — Monica Cellio ♦24 mins ago
Moderator note: The question asks about the halacha on a hot-button topic. This site is not a discussion forum. Please take discussion and opinions about the ethics, morals, and politics of the situation to Mi Yodeya Chat so we can keep the main site focused on the topic at hand. Thank you. — Monica Cellio ♦42 secs ago
The mods will check back in on that question after Shabbat. For those of you in more westerly timezones (or Israelis Saturday night), please use comment flags if needed; if something heats up before a mod can see it, it's possible that a passing CM will see flags. Shabbat shalom.
