As a place to start, might we be able to compile candidate questions for a "short list" of 8 questions? That is, assuming there were only going to be 8, which might they be? That doesn't mean there can't be more, but this might be a good place to start.

Am I crazy (in this particular case):
@close-voters: This question is clearly very different than that one. That one asks about saying Al Naharos at all. This one is about saying Shir Hamaalos if you don't say Al Naharos. I don't see how the question there, or the answers, overlap. — YEZ 40 secs ago
