@cgnieder Do, if you want. I guess, you’ve seen my edit with code, that is actually made by egreg based on your hints.
@cmhughes Click on the time. But OK, here without oneboxing: tex.stackexchange.com/questions/83035/…

10:43 PM
Hello everyone,

This is my first time in this chatroom, and I first wanted to thank you all for the wonderful work you have been doing with the site. I must confess I would have never gone the "LaTeX" way unless there was such a great group of support like all of you

@MarioS.E. Welcome!

@MarioS.E. Hello, welcome! :)
A fellow Portuguese speaker! Seja muito bem-vindo!

@PauloCereda Should I learn Portuguese too?

@egreg I should learn Italian. :)

should I learn English?

10:48 PM
@PauloCereda Sarebbe ora. ;-)
@DavidCarlisle Better start with French

@egreg <3
I'm aiming at the GuIT meeting. :)

@egreg too many accents and random genders for inanimate objects.

@DavidCarlisle You need to finish your vegetables first. :)

Well, my native language is spanish
I was born in Peru
lived there 7 years
then moved to Costa Rica
lived there 17
I had a couple of years in the USA (my grandparents live in MD)
and now I live in Portugal

@DavidCarlisle Why? "Fleur" is feminine, "Soir" is masculine. It's easy. Just think to Italian and change gender. ;-)

10:53 PM
Muito obrigado Paulo :)

Nice to see another South American around. :) One of our high rep users, Gonzalo, is from Colombia. :)

@MarioS.E. My native language is Italian. I was born in Italy, lived here ever since. :)

@egreg about as helpful as any of your answers:-)

I'm also italian @egreg
my dad is italian
and my mother is spanish
to be quite honest to all of you, I have no idea what I am
I'm just happy to have my family all around the world
wherever I go, I have someone to visit

@MarioS.E. A TeXnician?

10:55 PM
@MarioS.E. You're full of surprises.

My family is from Napoli

I'm Brazilian, living in a countryside area of São Paulo. :)

So, ready for the World Cup Paulo?

@MarioS.E. Oh please don't get @Paulo and @egreg started on football:-)

I'm ready. :) Sadly, the whole country isn't. :)
@DavidCarlisle Too late. :)

10:58 PM
@MarioS.E. some of us do in real life but here not everyone even has real names and certainly none of us use titles. Most of teh time we're not even polite to each other:-)

@DavidCarlisle Hold on!

...perhaps it's a little too late to ask this, but do we have like a protocol here? I'm afraid most of you are PhDs or Professors... I'm not sure if I feel comfortable refering to you by your first name
Cricket? Really? I would have thought Rugby...

!!/cricket
Psmith, the TeX bot, in fixed font mode: Let's take a look at the last cricket results:

- University of New South Wales v Karachi University
- University of Moratuwa v University of Liberal Arts
- Boland v Gauteng
- Border v North West
- Easterns v KwaZulu-Natal Inland
- Griqualand West v South Western Districts
- Namibia v Western Province
- D.A.V College Chandigarh v Karachi University
- Great Britain Combined University Team v University of Liberal Arts
- Royal Challengers Bangalore v Mumbai Indians

@MarioS.E. Paulo has a bot, we'll demonstrate once he's kicked it in to life..

@MarioS.E. The only protocol here is be yourself and have fun. :)

11:02 PM
@MarioS.E. That's why I use a nickname. :)

@egreg I noticed that right away after doing my account. I used my two last names and everything

Three iOS devices, three cardinal virtues: temperantia, sapientia and iustitia. Now I need a fourth one (perhaps an iPhone) to name it fortitudo. :)

So, @PauloCereda, What's the deal with the World Cup? A galera não esta pronta?

@MarioS.E. It varies a lot: some use their real names, some like egreg use nicknames but it is easy to find their real name if you look around, others use nicknames and guard their real identity completely

@MarioS.E. The infrastructure is not ready. I think the majority of the stadiums is completely behind the schedule and some cities won't support the amount of people. Take São Paulo, for instance, it took me almost two hours in a route it takes fifteen minutes. :) Traffic is very intense. :)

11:07 PM
@PauloCereda Take a little comfort in knowing that in San José, Costa Rica it takes you 1.5 hour to go 10 km (the entire length of the city) by car
nice beaches, though

@MarioS.E. Oh my! Speaking of it, San José was the first place in which I had a paper approved! I could not attend the conference, but my advisor did. :)

@PauloCereda Really? My first paper was approved in Brazil!!!

@MarioS.E. ooh! :)

it was in the LARS/SBR
in Fortaleza
Everyone here in Portugal wants to go to Brazil now a days. I'm not sure if it is because of the world cup or because there are a lot of working opportunities there. Do you happen to know if this is the case, @PauloCereda?

@MarioS.E. Cool! Last year's robotics stuff? :)

11:12 PM
@PauloCereda Yeap. I'm a biomedical engineer, but my "licenciatura" is from electronic engineering

@MarioS.E. I heard that some big cities are getting a lot of people preparing to work during the Confederations Cup this year.
@MarioS.E. Ah how nice! :)

Since I have a feeling most of you have some kind of relation with some kind of educational institution, Can I ask you all an academic--related question? What's your perception about the European Bologna agreement?

I really don't know much about it. :(
In other news, RIP Jane Henson. :(

11:32 PM
@Karl'sstudents I don't understand your bounty comment on the keyval question, Joseph's answer sums things up well enough, you seem to think things should be different but what kind of answer are you trying to get from the bounty?

11:44 PM
Well, I'm going to sleep. It was a pleasure to talk to you all guys

@MarioS.E. Good night!

@MarioS.E. Good night! :)

@DavidCarlisle I think that @Karl'sstudents just likes giving away rep sometimes :)

@DavidCarlisle Just for advertisement. :-)
@cmhughes That is correct.

@Karl'sstudents yes but advertising what? That key/value parsers work as documented?

11:56 PM
@DavidCarlisle For those who have not read it yet. And because Joseph's answer is not too localized to PSTricks internal details.

@percusse I second your comment about loops in Matlab- they should be avoided at all costs :)

@Karl'sstudents but I still don't understand (or perhaps just don't agree with) your comment that says the behaviour should be changed, I don't see what it could be changed to, and change is bad anyway.

@DavidCarlisle Yes. The comment in bounty might be wrong after getting the others answers. :-)
