Why is answer 1826 deleted?
It seems to perfectly answer the question. Source and/or proof of
Abu Hanifa usually talked opposite of Imam sadiq S.A.
could be exacted. But why delete?
the official line on "when will we graduate" is pretty much "when we're actually getting expert answers to questions"
and we're still struggling to get people to even write their own answers instead of copy-pasting the same essays/fatawa you already find all over the internet.
although there's still a bit too much "why was my post closed/deleted/downvoted/edited?" mentality, instead of "should this post be closed/deleted/whatever?" which would actually engage the community.
i.e. it's still very much "us vs them" instead of "mutual consultation"
don't think the site has any chance of succeeding without a serious appreciation of the fact that a community-moderated site needs community engagement.
Is it acceptable for a moderator to be highly (excuse me if it's an exaggeration) inactive?
By highly I mean visiting the site once or twice every 2-3 months.
What should be done in such a case?
Irrespective of the fact that the need is felt or not. Since I have never felt the absence of a mod...
Ansari's also been far less visible (but he's been active) for a while. usually either myself or Al Ummat have been handling flags and actioning posts before he could jump in.
