I have to calculate the following limit
$\lim_{x \to -2}\frac{x^2+4}{x+2}$. I decomposed it as $x-2 + \frac{8}{x+2}$. So when $x \rightarrow (-2)^-$, I get $-\infty$ and $x \rightarrow (-2)^-$ gets me $\infty$. Is it ok if I stop there or do I have show something more?
