A: Can We Use the Old Chat Theme?

This is just a quick hack, but if you have grease monkey installed this script will revert the links and bottom chat bar colour to the old versions. Personally, I like the new theme, but I do agree that I found the black colour of the old bottom bar to be easier on the eyes.

that script should solve your complaints about the colour of the bottom bar / link colour. Assuming you have greasemonkey.
