The Chrysler 300 (KRY-slər-THREE-hundred) is a full-sized luxury sedan produced by Chrysler. Designed by Ralph Gilles in 2001, and first shown at the 2003 New York Auto Show as a concept car, sales in the United States began in April 2004. The 300 was Chrysler's first rear-wheel-drive full-sized sedan since the 1981 Newport and New Yorker.
The 2011 second generation model was sold as the Lancia Thema in Europe, except in the United Kingdom and Ireland, where it was sold as the Chrysler 300C.
