I can't connect to my friends minecraft. We have the same version and internet. When one of us tries to join we get the message and they appear. But they are frozen and the dash on the other persons game doesn't spin. What do we do.

they're pretty similar as far as I know. in TDS you can collect star wars-themed stuff.

I really like the idea of games that kind of play themselves, essentially with high-level direction from the player.

So far, Disco Zoo (same company) has been a lot like that, just faster turn around

These games are kind of like that, except with an additional "keep doing the thing" required from the player all the time.

@StrixVaria I think I'd like it better if there was a bit more strategy and tuning to it, and less just tapping and waiting.

it's like a game where it's really fun for 2 minutes, and then there's a half hour loading screen between levels.

the scary part is, this is the first video game experience for a lot of kids. they're free and they're cute and they keep the kid occupied for however long they're allowed to play. think about if your first game was candy crush instead of like super mario bros. or something. what would you want 10 years later?

@StrixVaria No, it's... hard to explain. you play as a god and you have a personal hero (who is moderately brain damaged and alcoholic) who goes through a parody MMORPG, and you can influence him/her in a multiple of ways.

that's the market for video games 10 years from now.

@FAE The Goodreads description makes it sound very similiar to Ender's Game, which I loved.
