Q: Having trouble testing for mobs around me

im using the /execute command to test for a certain mob within a radius of three but it shows true when im within a radius of three of the command block. im using /execute @a[tag=Eggdrop,r=3] ~ ~ ~ /testfor @e[type=Blaze] but it doesnt work
