If the game has top notic gameplay you're more willing to look over certain issues, and not even intentionally. You won't even notice those issues. IF the gameplay isn't that great then those issues start to crop up and in your face.

It's the justification and reasoning behind those things that matter, and it all comes down to game quality
when 10 hours into a MP only game you're thinking "man, this is fun, but I don't think it'll hold interest for long without SP!". The problem isn't that there's no SP, it's that the MP obviously isn't that great.
If you've played for 50 hours and that doesn't even enter your head then it's because the game is a lot of fun
That's basically what I'm complaining about. The complete removal of the games quality, and realizing how large of a factor game quality plays into how things like "MP only" and "AMount of content" matter.

The issue is that we can't all objectively agree on what makes a multiplayer game "fun". Otherwise someone would have made it and we'd all just be playing that game. So reviewers need objective criteria to judge games, so it's not just "games that this particular reviewer enjoyed playing for some reason"
