This is from Facebook's login button developer documentation. It seems like a terrible idea to pass authentication data from Facebook, using client side JS, back to your own server and expect that to be secure

Headshots and bodyshots may or may not be simple as usual, but I bet you can't regularly shoot someone's weapon out of their hands or a thrown grenade without VATS.

Also, there are a number of perks that interact specifically with VATS to make you more accurate, shoot faster, etc.

After I got comfortable enough with the game mechanics (and after I installed a mod so that iron sights work properly), I played Fallout 3 with the whole HUD turned off and never again touched VATS. Works like a charm.

I don't think any of us can say for sure, but we can point to a few obvious reasons (e.g. Earthbound didn't sell well, game was programmed in a way that made translation somewhat more difficult, etc.)
