Q: Does steel charge mod increase the damage of Ash's blade storm?

Since Ash's blade storm damage is affected by power strength and melee combo multiplier, and I heard somewhere steel charge counts towards the combo multiplier, so I'm wondering does steel charge affect the damage of blade storm? But man, small town halloween =best halloween. I would get so much candy, and I would laugh at kids who went to like "the city" (aka a town of 500 people) and get "better stuff" whereas I would have like two pillowcases full and my candy always ran right til Christmas when I would restock
