If it was me on a Macbook with no mouse it wouldn't be the end of the world because you can use a keyboard for a lot

But this person was not the keyboard shortcut type.

Q: How to get alt-tab on GNOME to cycle through applications like Windows?

I am running GNOME desktop v2.16.0 on RedHat Enterprise Linux v5.3. I would like to assign the Alt-Tab key to cycle through the currently running applications like Microsoft Windows does. I believe I've seen this work on Linux before, how can I configure my system so that this works as desired?

Windows 10 TP 1 kinda had that (Win-Left Win-Up would get you Ctrl-Alt-7(Np)) but it was finnicky

Windows 10 TP 2 seems to have given up on it entirely
