@KevinvanderVelden The point is that any user that has access to the outside world, write access to basically any directory, and execute access to basically any directory is potentially vulnerable. Ignoring firewalls and NATs (which are already easily bypassed), that's basically every *nix machine running bash on the net.

@KevinvanderVelden But for any interactive website out there, it's next to impossible to knock out one side of that triangle. There are tricks that can be employed by using inter-process communication to separate processes by user, for example, but it isn't necessarily easy.

CGI is somewhat a braindead protocol. Then again, it's rare to see CGI in the wild anymore... FastCGI and other protocols have replaced it. Incidentally, those iirc also switch user contexts based on the script's owner.

I forget if Python uses OSGI or not.

Honestly, FastCGI is probably the most commonly used of the specifications. I'm not sure how it passes things between the server binary and FastCGI executable.

Of course, it doesn't work for some languages... and it's generally easier to use the language's internal constructs on things like Python (WSGI), Java (J2EE), and C# (ASP.NET)

Q: Is sky finite in Minecraft?

Probably sky is finite in Minecraft but I can't seem to reach the end of it. I can't go higher than 256 blocks (or whatever is defined in the server.properties file) with WorldEdit, but when flying I can actually go higher. So, if sky is finite (which it probably is), then where is the end?

Usually I'll buy 1 and instantly spend it to upgrade the tier below, then 10, then 100, etc.

Because it's not worth keeping them around right away.

What is 1 Hive Queen going to do?
