Q: Using XMP bursters on Portals

I am playing ingress. In my current area two of the three portals are owned by the enemy. I have been able to "hack" these portals but it will not allow me to use my XMP bursters. I am only a first day player at level one, but I have lvl 1 and 2 xmp bursters. why cant I use them on these portals?

Football can tie but it only happens once every few seasons.

Hockey used to allow ties but still has wins-losses-overtime losses

@kalina To be pedantic, football is not a sport. Football is an umbrella name for various sports. Association Football is a particular variant (the most common). Add in the upper-class slang of English public schools, and you get the name soccer.
