@Sterno Just in general. I haven't come across it yet in D3, but I remember in D2 and D1 getting confused with passages that branched off multiple times. Yes, I know the map doesn't populate until you go down them, though.

@fbueckert Hmm, I am seeing the AH as like WoW's AH... maybe that is my failing in that the AH is always better than merchants, its just that there is usually a certain level at which it becomes the normal way of things as opposed to an optional time
A better rewording would be, "At what point does selling magic items in the auction house outweigh gold find?". Then, at least, there should be a guideline for various levels of gold find.
@Krazer I think the ever changing demand for items will make a 'what type of item sells well on the AH' a bit harder to nail down then when in general will the AH be useful. Maybe I should remove the gold find from the title? That seems extraneous even to me now..

@fbueckert Yah, but that's a very specific scenario, and I would say that in terms of the attribute bonuses you're getting for the amount of gold you're spending, it is still far inferior.

@bwarner The blacksmith carries over between characters. At least, it did in beta.
@fbueckert Yes it does, so you could say that eventually you will get use out of that money. But I think you're better off using what little gold you have early on in an efficient way, and saving the crafting sink for when you have more gold than you know what to do with.

Just spam chakrams and Bola shots. He'll run right into the path of the chakram as he runs away from you and blow himself up. And Bola shot is just absurdly overpowered.

Why doesn't Blizzard manage to keep their damn servers running, I've been disconnected twice now on the same map. They run World of fucking Warcraft, they shoud know how to run a few servers.

@Aarthi it's a terrible idea, since they don't tend to give much in the way of utility if worked. tundra might give like one food, but the "ice" squares don't give jack and/or squat.
and re: stupid worker stuff, they'll tend to tear down forests around your production city (which you don't want) or build farms on your economic city, etc
@agent86 I have no idea if this is a valid tactic in Civ V since I still haven't gotten around to playing it, but I will say that I've built the occasional "military base" city on the poles in previous Civ games as a place to barracks my troops before I set out to conquer the world.
