I get pretty heated on some debates on this site, but when it comes to "Do we delete worthless answers or just downvote them a lot?", it doesn't seem that important.

@NickT This would be odd considering they just released a new skin for him.

@StrixVaria My understanding of what we do here is that we delete only if it isn't an answer.

@GraceNote Which is a fine policy, but if an otherwise worthless answer accidentally gets deleted occasionally, it's not worth making a big fuss over.

I dunno, I was in a couple 4-5 man premades last night and we got 3 Yi's in a row and lost in all but one from constant backdooring, the only one we won was a total base race; our nexus was about 50% hp with Yi and someone else beating on it when we got theirs

Strategy seems to do poorly in all genres on Gaming.SE, it seems: except for maybe LoL or StarCraft. A lot of stuff that can be dismissed with "yeah, well, that's just uh, your opinion, man." and strategy guide copy-pasta

I think there is room for subjective strategy questions.

StarCraft 2 made it work.

Writing the Resonance of Fate answer from the other day made me really happy, to harken back to when I used to write super-dense strategy work.

@StrixVaria sure. In order to have an objective answer, a question is usually about mechanics. Civ5 is another (less twitchy) strategy game and it has a bunch of q's about mechanics

@StrixVaria Honestly, I feel like "What opening builds I should use for Zerg?" is still way too open. The only reason it's salvageable as a question is because of tzenes' answer.

But, at least from what I get to attack, that isn't something one gets to answer for often.

@FallenAngelEyes That question is too broad, yes, but other questions are really good. The more specific a strategy question, the better.

I've been going for specific strategy questions in Soul Calibur 5 for that reason.

Instead of "How do I play as Xiba?", I picked one specific aspect of his game I was having trouble with and asked about that.

Maybe they'll all get closed as not constructive in the future, but I'll make a push for them right now.

@MarkTrapp Again, I think that the quality of the answers can be at least partially dictated by the quality of the question. The more open-ended the question, the worse the answers are going to be. The more narrow the scope, the more the answers are required to be thoughtful to even be relevant.

@OrigamiRobot I went to North Carolina once for 3 days. I had grits. I didn't put any sauce on them because I didn't know you were supposed to. They were very bland.

When I took Leixia to practice mode, I thought "oh she's exactly like Xianghua!"

@IanPugsley I'll try those out. I really like Astaroth overall, but I was so reliant on his 6K from SC4 that I felt crippled now that it's slower.

@StrixVaria his new 6K is great for ringouts, the knockback is even better on counters

I miss his SCII 6K - the counter on that was a lift that you could A+G for an air throw
