I've been playing KSP on a Mac, but I'd like to transfer all my save data over to a Windows PC. Is this possible? If so, where are the files and what do I need to transfer?
I want to run the executable xthrust but it requires a particular type of visual that is not available. The error it reports is "Not 8 bits per pixel PseudoColor."
xdpyinfo lists the visuals but none of them seem to be PseudoColor.
Is this a limitation of my monitor? How can I determine this? I...

In Civilization 5, do technologies still get cheaper as they get older/discovered by others? Or is there no difference which order you research them in? In previous Civs, I believe they got cheaper as they got discovered by others.

A friend was showing me an air traffic simulator the other day, and when you set two planes to head-on in the runways, it just shows them facing each other and it says "COLLISION - GAME OVER", or summat along those lines.
One of the maps had a little train thing that you could race around the track on the level. I'd intentionally hop in, switch the direction full speed (forward or reverse) and try to ram them.
"Desert Combat Racing" was always a dangerous sport. After all, racing across minefields in an active battlefield always is. But even getting to the start line is dangerous. Or not.
I was driving a nice buggy down towards the random map point we specified to start our race, when off to the side of my camera, I watch a jet plane just nosedive straight into the ground, explode a bit, and then topple over. Failed vehicular assassination attempt on my person by my brother.
cp_trainwreck was updated to work again, but now it uses the payload bomb cart models which are shorter. Still funny to see all these bomb carts criss-crossing on a map.

@StrixVaria The intro is a tad lengthy... But at least it wasn't Xenosaga. The combat though... That is where the game shines. I don't know who came up with that style of combat, but cheesus were they brilliant.
@StrixVaria Okay. Timing is super easy then. Especially with countering. If you were on hard (I think?), the lightning bolts wouldn't show up for counters.
After a bit of fiddling, I came up with the solution.
First, take off the turntable and drive a little ways into the gap. Then mod your robot and put the turntable back on, but on top of your battery (not under it as usual).
Now your turntable will help you climb up the slopes on either side...

I have about 50 L1 XMP busters and 14 L2 XMP Busters.

To get through the first one, all I had to do was take my turntable off, boost my battery through, and then put it back on. However, the next one (scanned as 'Narrow Gap 2') has an obstacle in it that my battery can't climb over by itself.
How do I get through here?
