Americans tend to like more dramatic themes and stuff

Hm, interesting. Is it more complex than Ticket to Ride? Our group didn't like that one much :/ (though I know it's quite popular in the US)

I've never played Ticket to Ride to be honest.

I would think it's more complex. Youneed to plan your turns out several turns in advance.

And at the same time be able to adapt to other players actions.

I love Chess. I used to play on a daily basis back in high school, although I rarely play anymore.

Do you have any suggestions for a war themed game, similar to risk? My friends and I like to partake in a game of Risk every now and again, but we have a major gripe with the fact that luck plays such a huge factor in the game.

I have Small World!

Although it's not complex enough for my liking.

It's enjoyable, but due to how simple it is I enjoy it less then my other games.

@GraceNote Well, they have varied causes and as such, varied solutions. There is at least medication for its treatment.

Doubt a hospital will do much, though. Medical treatment usually doesn't start unless the attack is chronic.

The badge system exists for two reasons:

to teach new users how Stack Exchange works to encourage activities we view as positive to the community

to encourage activities we view as positive to the community

As the engine grows and evolves, we discover new areas that need badges. In fact, we’ve added a bevy of new badges in the last 6 months or so that we haven’t had time to talk about yet.

Badges are supposed to be a little mysterious; you should view them as minor puzzles with obvious hints. …

I still think Archaeologist is a very, very bad badge.
