For any curious eavesdroppers, the super-secret requirements were:

* Edit and upvote new user's first post
* Must have been posted during Winter Bash
* Edit and upvote must take place within an hour of each other, in either order
* Edit must affect post body

and all of mine missed either the 3rd or 4th :(

@ff524 I think so. For most things that count edits (including the badges) tag only edits do not count, you need to edit the body.
