I deleted quite a few comments here that were... a bit confrontational in nature. Many were blatantly inappropriate. The summary related to concerns with #1 - telling a young woman who is uncomfortable around someone due to inappropriate comments to talk with the person who makes her uncomfortable 1/1 not necessarily being a good idea. — enderland ♦5 hours ago
@enderland I don't understand that. Not your messageāI mean the idea of getting all worked up over the suggestion that you could choose to confront the individual.
Anyway, I wasn't sure if Ajaxkevi was referring to deleted comments, or existing comments, or answers, or what
I meant to ask if you were in that gap where your wife doesn't have health coverage and you don't either because you are still waiting on the enrollment forms to be processed
Continuation Of Benefits.... something something? In the US you can extend your employer-provided benefits by paying a bunch of extra money after you leave.
Coen Brothers movies are just full of great quotes to throw at people who are behaving insufferably. Though maybe my appreciation for non sequitur has biased me somewhat.
My wife and I usually stay under 0.5 GB of data (combined) but our plan lets us go over into the 1 GB bin and pay something like $10 more in any given month. It's handy when we're traveling.
There's a company that I heard about recently that's claiming to offer free cell phone plans. I think the deal was that they already have an app that routes all calls and SMS through VOIP and MMS, so you can use WiFi, and now they're trying to sell data-only plans
Ha! I definitely did not want a contract. I got my Moto G for $40 on a deal, and got a $100 credit for first time sign up that allowed my wife to get a refurbished iPhone 5 for under $200
@enderland I mean, you can, if you want to pay for an iPhone. I tried to talk her out of it but she wanted something that would interface with her laptop.
The biggest downside of being on a Sprint carrier is that my in-laws' house is in the sticks where only Verizon has good coverage. But at some point, Ting started offering free talk and text roaming on Verizon, and I decided it was time to get rid of ol' flippy
I can't find a nice chart of their pricing anymore, but ours is $10 for talk/text and then $7.50 for 0.5gb data (per person) so $35 base for two of us, though I think it'll be more like $25-30 for us
