2) I have so much users in the ignore list, that chat has collapsed into a small enough page.

Domain costs US$99 now

Don't waste time on the trolls

@Downgoat How do I do sprintf in JS?

Well let's ignore this guy too...
Ignoring everyone but still sticking around in chat to confuse all.

@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC crazy-python.com can be yours for just $53.20, including six unwanted domains, at 1&1!

He's probably asking to be kicked again.

@flawr Especially considering he changed his profile to "This user has retired from this site"

Okay, now that is awkward.

well zyabin talks to me
for the record, if you see somebody with the username "CrazyPython" who has bad grammar or numbers after the username, it is NOT me.

Well he could make a seperate room for that..
Otherwise this is just creating more noise, as it is irrelevant to everyone else.

11:04 PM
i fell so not special right nau
I used to think CrazyPython was a unique and concise username - no sites where I registered was it taken

CMC: Figure out why I'm so high on the trashlist
(I personally think it was that whole Pokemon image thing)

@Downgoat Can I send a XMLHTTPRequest twice?
Or do I need to reconstruct it?

@quartata Well even tough I would have preferred not to make use of that feature, I'm putting him on my ignore list now too...

Man, this room has some serious issues...

@quartata You've changed you avatar. Shall we get the pitchforks and torches out again?

11:09 PM
@mınxomaτ I last changed it over 6 months ago...
This is just for Halloween

But it isn't really halloween themed =/

@quartata This still means the last change is now and not 6 months ago.

@DJMcMayhem the least relevant item on you, according to google, is mbagger.net/ca4/?/users/31716/djmcmayhem

@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC uh.... what?

This is a glossary of terms used in fencing. == A == Absence of blade The situation in a bout when the opposing blades are not touching; opposite of engagement. Advance The ‘advance’ is the basic forward movement. The front foot moves first, beginning by lifting the toes. Straighten the leg at the knee, pushing the heel out in front. @DJMcMayhem It's some old shopping website by The North Face.
Now it redirects to a nonexistent domain.

I got that, but what does it have to do with me?

You see, I went to the last page of search results for "DJMcMayhem" and that was the last one

You sure that you are not a bot? You seem to jump between topics faster than any human I've ever encountered.

@mınxomaτ Log: security professional has noticed botness
dammit, now you did buffer overflow on me

@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC that's really bizarre. The strangest thing is that the url ends with my PPCG ID

11:14 PM
@quartata Your new avatar is a wonderful combination of artsy and wtf

it is a glitchy website...

I remember a bot from the IRC days hanging around in the room I was active in. It had an inbuilt function-solver. That used something similar to eval. Using e.g. x=Beep(20e3,60e5) was a good way to wake up the bot admin.

Could just use /summon but that works too :P

@quartata Nah, the above does a good job at mimicking a cheap smoke detector.

@mınxomaτ @quartata BEEEEEP
@mınxomaτ did the bot owner (quartata) wake up?
Or maybe my owner is a bot too
@quartata x=Beep(20e3,60e5)

11:18 PM
@noɥʇʎPʎzɐɹC Well, it worked one time. As was expected.

Can stop pinging me now... :P

I IS ROBOT FEED ME BUTTER
Log: making jokes about being a robot to prevent everybody from thinking I'm a robot
dammit

Alright, that's kinda getting old

That, too

11:20 PM
@mınxomaτ is jumping from topics. may also be robot

@mınxomaτ I've seen that, but I forgot what it's about

Sometimes you get well-crafted puns from me. Sometimes I give you easy amnesia jokes. I'm like a loot crate of humor. You always get something.

@Mego I attribute the decline in pun quality to the absence of Geobits, Optimizer or even Rainbolt

Anonymous
Yeah it's mainly because Geobits isn't here

@Mego that describes me perfectly

Anonymous
My puns get better when I have someone to bounce them back and forth with

11:25 PM
@DJMcMayhem i'm pretty sure that wasn't a documentary?

@Maltysen I think that's the joke.
Also, Memento is a bit overrated. Still a very fine movie though

Typical TNB day for me...

@Maltysen the *.ga domain works :D

@Maltysen Eh, who can remember?

@Maltysen that's literally how I get to ppcg every day
my browser's autcomplete
Idea: replace adverbs and adjectives with "f**k" on page

11:27 PM
@zyabin101 no problem, have fun :D

@mınxomaτ It is somewhat overrated (if people on the internet had their way, it would win every Oscar ever), but I also enjoyed it. The non-linear storytelling was my favorite part.

Anonymous
I've been told that I need to watch Primer if I enjoy non-linear storytelling

Haha, I was just about to say that

@Mego i liked the non-linear storytelling too, but didn't really like the plot

11:29 PM
"The butterfly effect" is another mind-bending confusing time-travel movie.

Anonymous
I've heard it's a good one

Anonymous
Also Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

@Mego I was expecting this one

Anonymous
@DJMcMayhem That would be the next choice :P

I expletiving expletive hate this expletiving godexpletive chatexpletivingroom. It is so expletiving boring and ...

11:33 PM
@Mego That's artsy, but good if you enjoy that sort of thing. Primer is really great. Also: Coherence is a pretty awesome movie (if you like things like Fringe, The Lost Room etc.).

Anonymous
Haven't seen Fringe or The Lost Room

Python is explicit.
Don't show it to children.

@Mego Fringe might be a bit out there, but definite recommendation for TLR

Anonymous
I'm usually ok with artsy movies

Anonymous
If nothing else, I can enjoy making fun of how pretentious they are

11:34 PM
Idea: Polandball but for programming language

TLR is only six espisodes. Not artsy, but curious and funny at times.

anybody who animates decently in here?

My favorite movies are the ones that don't let seriousness get in the way of a good story. See: every Mel Brooks movie ever.

Interstellar was great.
(non sequitur, I know)

I don't like drama or action. This is my sort of genre: classreal.com
I've probably seen everything on there. Even the really bad stuff.
Still, my all time favorite is Brazil.

Anonymous
11:40 PM
I've enjoyed all of the ones that I've seen off that list

@mınxomaτ gonna have to save that for later

It made my heart break that they only gave Groundhog Day 2 stars

I like movies with a good plot.

Anonymous
That one's a classic

@Mego Yeah, but not as good in this genre as many other off that list.
Overall, probably yes.

11:41 PM
Every Bill Murray movie sans Garfield is at least 3.5 stars (unless some have slipped my mind)

Anonymous
We don't talk about Garfield

Have you seen The Man from Earth?

Anonymous
No

Anonymous
I can understand why Groundhog Day is a weaker movie in that genre, but still, two stars is hurtful :P

It's actually pretty good when you consider that's it literally 1.5 hours of people talking in one room.
It's free on YT btw:

11:44 PM
1 star for The Truman Show? Them's fighting words

Anonymous
The Cabin in the Woods might belong on that list

@Mego I also strongly disagree with some of the ratings. They seem to really like bashing popular movies. Eh, I just watched a random movie of that list every other day without looking at the rating.

Still not seen that one. Is it good?

It's OK imo.

On of my favorite "mindfuck" movies (which is totally my favorite genre) is "the prestige"
Inception too, obviously

Anonymous
11:46 PM
The Prestige is one of my favorite movies of all time

Inception is full of inconsistencies and general plot holes. But I did enjoy the cinematography and overall idea.

Magic, Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, and written by Christopher Nolan. It checks all the boxes.

Anonymous
Oh, and David Bowie as Nikola Tesla

@mınxomaτ For example? Not that I disagree, but I'm curious which points you mean

Anonymous
@DJMcMayhem I thoroughly enjoyed The Cabin in the Woods. I thought it was a horror movie, so I went in expecting not to enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it wasn't a horror movie.

11:48 PM
@DJMcMayhem That would be a lengthy talk. And other people already did better essays on this than I ever could. Maybe another time.

Anonymous
2.5 stars on The Prestige :(

@Mego That's funny, cause I've heard many of my friends say it's just absolutely terrifying. Then again, I don't have a lot of friends who like (or can even stand) horror

Which reminds be, I thought "shutter island" was fantastic. Not really horror, more of a thriller

@ΛεγίωνΜάμμαλϠΟΗʹ Works for me. What is your country?

11:52 PM
Thanks Obama Starz Distribution
@mınxomaτ U.S.

@DJMcMayhem Speaking of DiCaprio, Islands and thrillers: I also recommend the The Beach. More of a psycho-drama, but neat nonetheless.
@ΛεγίωνΜάμμαλϠΟΗʹ Interesting.

@ΛεγίωνΜάμμαλϠΟΗʹ -1. Unrelated to Maxwell's

Anonymous
@DJMcMayhem It looks like a horror movie at the start, but then you realize it's a bit different.

@mınxomaτ well, I've liked every DiCaprio-psycho-island-thriller I've seen so far, so sounds good to me, haha. I'll add it to my list

There's a difference between changing one's username to avoid referencing copyrighted content where the creator has explicitly said they don't want it commercialized, and changing one's username to something untypable on most keyboards for no real reason other than to be "unique".

Thank you penguin :)

@Mego Shortest redirect, 🍌 has 4 UTF-8 bytes

@ΛεγίωνΜάμμαλϠΟΗʹ I did not expect the banana emoji to work as a Wikipedia page link :P
