Morning all
Hmmm don't think that this question is opinion-based outdoors.stackexchange.com/questions/13552/…

@Sue that's cute
@Sue I didn't relaise you got red squirrels in America?
So I logged into 350+ rep this am :O
So this is what it's like to be @OddDeer
I'm an animal lover. I spend a lot of time trying to encourage wildlife into my garden and bird spotting, etc. But I don't really have a problem with well managed hunting
It's often essential, for example if the deer in scotland weren't hunted they'd cause a lot of damage as they have no natural predators
There are wild goats in Snowdonia and again they get hunted as they damage the rare plantlife on some of the crags. Again no natural predators so they need to be kept in check

@Sue aww that's so cute! :) just skim read your messages, a lot to catch up on since I wasn't on at the weekend
Almost morning everyone!

@OddDeer; I am writing an answer to your question, the one which is about why one shouldn't suck a snakebite
And there is already a couple of good answers by @imsodin and @liam.
But, you know, Snakes.. Thats something I can't stop myself from writing about.

@WedaPashi Nice, thank you ;)

@Liam -- American red squirrels are a different animal than European ones.
American = Tamiasciurus hudsonicus, European = Sciurus vulgaris
