@Aravona Were hoping to get onto git soon. How do you find it? Were having sever limitations on SVN lately because we have so many active branches and users
@Ara: One light (and polite) suggestion: I approved the tag edits that you just made. Can we try and edit them in a way that Excerpt is just an introductory data and the main info segment is more than the excerpt? Most of the edits that you just made ar elike Excerpt is copied into the information segment. That probably makes no sense in having two different fields there.
@Liam git is pretty good but can be a pain when we both edit a file, upload it and merge... The merging can be a bit... Literal
@WedaPashi yeah that's because the tags don't need much saying about them mate, they are rather obvious. If you see my past edits there is more explaination usually but if there isn't much to say then what's the point?
I could have very easily written a mother of an essay on glaciers and beaches, but no one really reads that crap lol
Besides, if no one by now has bothered to fill in an empty tag, a short one doesn't matter and someone else can share the benefits and rep of improving it later.
@Liam Our git problems can be overcome, but there's no file locking etc. We do our merges back to our dev branch and push up, so in stash we only have master, dev and the odd new feature branches... My local sourcetree is littered with branches I should probably delete lol
