@Szabolcs Hi, I would like to ask you a question about the C function refactor. Rencently, I wrote two similar C functions wrapper called BSplineCurveKnotsRemoveAll[] and BSplineSurfaceKnotsRemoveAll[] for curve and surface, respectively. I would like to merge them to a C function BSplineKnotsRemoveAll[], any suggestion? About the detail, please see the following question. Thanks:)

Q: Two knot-removal function for curve and surface

Shutao TangRecently, I have been using the Wolfram LibraryLink wrapper. By that technique, I could call the function written in C from Wolfram Mathematica. Here are two C wrapper functions, BSplineCurveKnotsRemoveAll() and BSplineSurfaceKnotsRemoveAll(): BSplineCurveKnotsRemoveAll(P,U,p,TOL) removes as m...

I don't understand why this question has gotten two upvotes, when the posted code has syntax errors (non InputForm) and the underlying issue appears to be a simple mistake (comparing inequivalent codes). One of the votes came after I pointed out the difference. Am I wrong?

Q: Community wiki about bugs in graph related functions?

WjxIt seems that there's a lot of bugs in graph related functions, and I think it's necessary to have a wiki post that makes clear all the problems inside them. Should we have something like this? Who has better solutions for problems like these? Or maybe point me to a good resource?

@MichaelE2 because when you want that first gold badge, you just open up 30 questions and upvote them every day :-D

@JasonB That explains why I see a lot ill-posed questions upvoted immediately....Though to be fair, the one I asked about was a fairly complicated Q, which on the face of it seems to pose a valid question.

@Szabolcs How about the answer I posted; those lengthy SubValues are not pretty, however one does not have to resort to Evaluate/Hold/ReleaseHold trickery.

Are you a teacher who’s been asked “Why am I learning this?”, “How is this going to help me in real life?” and other variations of this question by your students? I know that I faced this when I was teaching, and it can be tough to provide a satisfactory response. However, being able to [...]
