@Móż I just checked mine and when wired up they're no wider than the forks of that bike

Its pretty rare one has to pedal down a downhill to avoid rolling to a stop.

I don't bother with canti's. if i bought a bike using canti's, it'd be retrofitted with V-brakes within a day or two.
