@andy256 everything is awesome! Everything is cool when you're part of a team!

8:18 AM
cringe
that's the team leader's alert for critical cases at work
it means EVERYTHING IS BROKEN!
or some significant fraction therein

@Móż Maybe we should go agile. I would who should be scum, oops, scrum master?

@Batman From bicycles.stackexchange.com/questions/43456/… I'd rather deal with an angry moose any day over traffic, and the possibility of being doored. I've been hit twice here. I assume in a "real city" I'd already be dead.

i used to live in nyc, and hwile i didnt bike there a few of my friends did.
basically, they'd get hit at least 1x a month
and then have to take the subway
so they ended up having to have monthly metro cards regardless

@Móż Buy a new car is a perfectly acceptable given the framework salesman was confined too. He probably can't sell the stereo/electronics out of a newer vehicle separately, and certainly can't recommend the customer go to an aftermarket shop elsewhere to just upgrade the stereo/etc.
I've also had fun with various noises and fireworks during long races once I start to get loopy. So they are good for that as well. I came into a checkpoint late at night one time to be thoroughly question by the staff. "Did you see hunters out there? Someone was shooting at something!"
I had stopped about 1/4 mile from the checkpoint and set off a roman candle just to celebrate not dying on a particularly hairy and long descent.

@andy256 I prefer waterfall for my team activities. The relaxing sound of deadlines wafting gently by, the constant trickling noise of team members leaving, the burbling noise of the boss in the corner trying to make sense of Gantt charts... it's all very peaceful.

cry
in front all the way and then lost it in the last couple of seconds

I do wonder how those big wheels avoided windup
I mean the hub flanges are tiny

11:37 PM
@Criggie short cranks, bad pedalling position means you can't apply a lot of torque.
@Criggie also, with a 2000 spoke wheel you don't need a lot of strength per spoke.
