Hi @Batman, yeah I think you're right. It's just a different in cost - $$ if I do it myself, $$$ if I get someone in. So I'll try it myself at first. I've set 4 traps which they haven't touched, but have also put some poison which they do seem to be taking.
So it all depends whether the poison actually gets them
@Batman I just looked that up on IMDB, it sounds strange but gets a very high rating
@Rilakkuma I just caught an excellent documentary about Honshu's wildlife - in particular the black bears and macaques - looks like a beautiful place. This programme appears to be part of a series, next week southern Japan.
@Batman surpriseingly, can't see it in the UK yet. I watched a film "The Inbetweeners" the other day, from 2011. It was very British (bunch of teenagers head to Greece for a summer holiday) so it wouldn't surprise me if you'd never heard of it.
Had some good bits but I think it would have been more fun if I were 18
ah, right. I heard someone mention it so thought it might be worth watching. I had Netflix when it first came out, but quickly ran out of things to watch, so canned it. That was a few years back, so presumably it has gotten better
yeah I looked at a few of those film services, but none impressed me. I figured if I did a search on Schwarzenegger and got back fewer than a dozen or so results, the service wasn't very extensive
These days if I want to watch something badly enough I'll buy it on dvd. Generally works out at about 3 per year
Last year I canned my movies & sport subscriptions, my pay tv is now 1/3 what it was. Don't really miss them, as you say its mostly background noise
I still have the "entertainment" package, so do get lots of premium channels - and some movies and sports channels - just not Sky's movie/sports channels
When I was in Belgium last weekend, their channel 1 (presumably national) was showing cyclocross, which was pretty entertaining. But I have no idea how I could get hold of that in the UK
