they are probably registers that have flags indicating whetgher a read or write operation is ready to take place

avr atmega128 while(eecr & (1<<(eewe)); why semicolon , why shifting ??

eewe is the number of positions over the flag you're looking for is

eecr is control register and eewe write enable register i am reffering to program given in datasheet of atmega128 ,page 23

so if EECR is the register with the flag, EEWE is the position of the flag you're looking for.

the semicolon indicates the end of the statement

look at page 21 of the mega128s datasheet

you put some data into the EEDR with an address you control with EEARL, then manipulate EECR to make the operation happen

look at the atmel datasheet, that explains it all

If you're not paying anyone, why are you learning embedded? It's a great field, but hardly the most approachable for a novice programmer

I doubt it. I've been calling Good Friday (today) Hamburger day since I was 12. I called my mom from McDonalds telling her I wouldn't be home for lunch because I had already eaten.
