@Anwar True. On the other hand, they said they'd test your answer and get back to you. That seems reasonable. They shouldn't upvote, let alone accept, before they know whether it works.

@luchonacho If everything else is okay you can replace the HDD ... it is way cheaper than a new notebook ! :) But I would recommend to replace it with a SSD ! :)

@luchonacho Well, you can take a look at vendors like Adata, Kingston, Crucial etc. I do have a Samsung SSD in one of my laptops but I can't the any performance difference between the vendors actually. I sent the link to a samsung SSD because I thought that you would recongnize the name of it, and therefore feel more secure about the answer I provided
@terdon the link however asks different question from what my indicator does though. There's another question that may be more suitable for my indicator.
