Anyone know a good site that will tell you what parts you need to put a specific stereo in your car? Crutchfield is where I normally go, but this particular stereo is no longer sold so they don't list it :/
@Chan-HoSuh eh, I would buy my pieces separately, unless you plan on following a guide that uses that starter kit. That way you only get (and pay for) what you need.
(disclaimer: doesn't own an arduino, although he wishes he did)
It is possible that someone serially upvoted my posts. I can't see it.
But the weird thing is that some of my answers were unaccepted. That is a puzzle.
What does this mean?
@HenryWHHack it wasn't really blocking anything. I was just too busy every day. We were walking around a lot. And after visiting the great wall, i officially hate stairs. Hooray for elevators
It's pretty fun, the way it works. If you played ingress, you can kinda see some similar elements, but that's to be expected since it comes from the same developer
@MuditKapil you can cast votes for moderators in about 5 1/2 days on that same page you visited to see all their nomination posts. --> askubuntu.com/election?cb=1
@MuditKapil a new election does not mean they have to step down, it is more they need some backup forces and hiring two new moderators on top of that. But I highly doubt that Fabby will step up and nominate himself to be a moderator as he is currently very busy with the real world, having a new Job which takes most of his time.
We all do love to help, otherwise we would be here :) when we sometimes not answer to a question in chat it is mostly because we are not knowing the answer. :)
@Videonauth seems like the wrong approach to me ;-) now it looks like you want to fulfill the mod requirements just to fulfill the mod requirements. Your work on meta the next few days is not going to make a difference. It is your meta work over a year or longer that will.
So I was reading "A Theory of Moderation" (blog.stackoverflow.com/2009/05/a-theory-of-moderation) and I noticed that it says "In the case of serious disputes, communicate directly with users via email to help mediate and resolve those disputes."
@Rinzwind no its a sword which cuts both ways look at the time and then on my account age and you know the time i spend on helping maintaining the site, otherwise my score would not be possible
@Videonauth sure but getting the nomination means to get cut the least :-D
oh man D:
In France 2 dudes decide to rob a McDonald. They grabbed 2k in euro out of the till Only to find out a group of 11 soldiers from an anti-terrorist unit where there eating hamburgers.
Every time I turn on my computer, I see a message saying something like:
Your battery may be old or broken.
I am already aware that my battery is bad. How do I suppress this message?
Maybe these instructions will help you to get rid of that message.
Added instructions from the link, Alt+F2, then type in gconf-editor.
Navigate to /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/low_capacity and untick the value.
Or a single command:
gconftool --set /apps/gnome-power-manager/notify/low_ca...

I have interacted with a few new user recently who are very disgruntled due to getting a lot of down-votes on there questions for been duplicates.

On some questions the edit button is greyed out and I can't edit them. Why is this, and does it happen to other people. Example: "open in terminal" command in ubuntu 16.04, doesn't open terminal in changed directory
Is there any circumstance where someone other than he who asked the question can select an answer? And if so, how/in what way would that answer selection be carried out?
