Once I get these certs re-installed once, it's not a problem at all

The error I'm getting is often attributed to the Let's Encrypt datacenter taking too long to connect to the server

A: Ubuntu 15.10 root account login

Just type open a terminal and run sudo -H nautilus. It'll open a file browser as root and allow you to edit those files. Alternatively, you can open a terminal and run sudo chown yourusername /path/to/file.txt. For a folder: sudo chown -R yourusername /path/to/folder.

@TheBrownOne I'm fine with putting CloudFlare SLL on Flexible, so it doesn't need an encrypted connection to the host (if you're OK with that of course)

It doesn't automatically go to HTTPS, and if I do it manually, it says the certificate is for browntech.tk

That's because it's trying to establish an HTTPS connection with my server

Since the only HTTPS connection that's live right now is browntech, all HTTPS traffic is being pushed there

I forgot to turn CF DNS back on -_-
