I used SFML to make some basic stuff with C++ and to learn more about the core, but since I only want to make the game I've been using Unity since that.
Well. To begin from the beginning, I am trying to make a card game that simulates cinematic RPG combat. After going through several iterations I am now going back to the drawing board to find a main core mechanics that fits the experience.
Also, people kept making mistakes on card effects, because they are hard to remember in a pinch.
So, lots of things went wrong. I am still looking into how to make a real time game that works, but I need more ideas for a simple yet narratively powerful resolution mechanic, any clues?
