One does not really think it but the English language is one of the most evolving languages out there... The English spoken even a two hundred years ago was not the same as today in fact if you were to travel back you would not be able to communicate.
@Rincewind Sure, there's a book-adaptation tag here. But talking just about the book wouldn't be on-topic here (main site, of course, not chat, as Napoleon says).

@steelerfan Don't worry, it just means people adressed you in chat. And welcome to chat (since you're probably Miss @steelerfan's sister, I suppose?). ;-)
I am afraid that I just would not have the time to devote to an account here. I will let my sister have her own group of friends that she has around this place and not interfere with that :)
You are welcome :)
I don't know how to respond to an individual comment, I'm sorry.
@steelerfan You can click the little arrow thingy at the end of the message, which lets you reply to that message specifically. But don't worry, it's not too busy in here.
@steelerfan You don't necessarily have to actively devote major time to the site or to chat at all. You can as well just answer the occasional question now and then. Maybe there are some interesting things about Copper or history in general.
Well, my sister and I are very close. Yeah, she has no filter and just blurts anything out of her mouth. Well, I guess I do too, but not to the extreme that she does ;)
@steelerfan I liked it quite a bit, some really nice ideas and a great audiovisual style and atmosphere. I'm admittedly not a big Shakespeare expert, but we read Macbeth in school and I always liked it. I also like the Polanski film from the 70s very much.
@NapoleonWilson Yes, of course. I think everyone had to read Macbeth in school! The Polanski film was equally fabulous. While I admit that Jon Finch is no Michael Fassbender, it was still great.
I am in a bit of a rush. Thank you for all of your help. Have a great day :)
Define stress: Waking up to a note from my sister that she frigging posted an answer on my account and came in here and talked to "my nice internet friends" who encouraged her to set up her own account here! You are all dead to me! :P
@steelerfan Awww, don't worry, we had a nice chat, totally innocuous. I was compelled to at least mention the possibility of setting up an account in my role as an ambassador of this site. But you might be pleased to to hear that she actually said "I will let my sister have her own group of friends that she has around this place and not interfere with that" Everything is fine. ;-)
@NapoleonWilson And what a nice little title they picked on Imgur, too :/
Also, sorry to be a party pooper, but isn't this basically asking for a list? "Have any of Edgar Allan Poe's stories been adapted" Yes, many of them. "If so, which ones?" Too many to count.
I'm not sure if it was a nick show. But remember the intro being a boy reading at a comicbook stand and then getting sucked into the comic. In the comic he goes on adventures with this character from the book, i remember the character having two diffrent colour eyes, that was like her trade mark ...
If you are watching a movie with a friend, and he asked to pause for a bathroom break. How do you spend this time ? how long does it usually take and what is the first thing you do when he comes back ?
Will truly appreciate your help! thanks
@Walt Well, it is a bit indeed. I still tried to encourage it as long as it's worded in an interesting and engaging way. And I admittedly didn't know what author it would be about, to my defense. Those questions are admittedly a little contentious, but they can also work. (Of course in this case it might be complicated by the fact that there are probably millions of adaptations and people might not know where to start with their answers.)
