@Flyk "when I'm here next"... and will have time... may not be until Tuesday at the earliest. I have a shoot this weekend and I'm using today to prep last minute stuff... but even then, I'll be flying to DC on Thursday to help my mom move and will be driving cross-country until next Tuesday.

So then they only need to make the form for the actual graduation swag. But maybe the other stuff is shipped earlier and I can decide if I need another T-shirt size.

@Catija Why not, it's an election so I'd guess the bribe-only people are not too likely to win anyway. But I didn't know that beforehand anyway, nobody told about it.

Meh, I'll just have to think about running on ELL when they graduate... though that could be anything from next week to next year. It will be interesting to see what they decide for a theme...

Yeah, I didn't know we'd get swag just for putting ourselves up for nomination. I'm still waiting on the swag the first two pages of top users are supposed to get for the site graduating.

Still cool that people who put themselves up for nomination are getting a little appreciation, though. They definitely didn't need to do that, at all.

I'd wonder if they're concerned with word getting out when new mod elections come up on a site that they'd get tons of people who throw their hat in just to get free stuff....

They could simply limit the swag to people who make it out of the run-off stage... or people who actually show some effort... for example, we had those whole long list of questions for people to answer... but not everyone who ran answered them.
