I've been speaking fluent German for almost 20 years, but I do have some mistakes I haven't eradicated

people usually have no trouble with that - I think I write better German than the average highschool graduate if you take the number of errors, mine are just more unusual - but it's the wrong thing for a job application

but remembering the correct prepositions usage has always been a weak side of my writing

so even with the good spelling, my written text ends up weird for native speakers.

English prepositions are just baffling.
