the other branch of consultancy is training others

I have more years in managing frontline teams but I am proficient in almost all areas and enjoy all.

That is one of the best things you can say.

Something like, "I've enjoyed every job I have had"

Even if you're totally making it up, be charming. Whether you're selling yourself, or a product.

The endeavor would have been much easier years back. Now it's hard to get past the 'big three'. Most manufacturers use one of those. Very few venture outside unless they have their own personnel and not many do.

I used to say, "fake it till you make it".

That has served me well over the years.

Perhaps I'm a bit wiser now, or not.
