Some questions leave me at a loss for a close reason:

Q: Can anybody send me a link to that love letter that was written in a programming language?

ZoytI'm not quite sure where to put this question, so this is the best I could do. Anyways, I remember running across a link to a letter, which I think was a love letter, that was written in a programming language, which I think was C. The code doesn't actually do anything, it just contained the word...

This question appears to be off-topic because WTF. — tylerl 2 mins ago

Feb 13 at 22:18, by TildalWave
was tempted to go with "off-topic because of WTF" tho
have to say I'm tempted like that quite often, then the diamond stops me

@TildalWave It should be an official close reason.

@tylerl well yes, I'd agree but it's not PC enough
e.g.
-2
Q: Send a wind turbine to space

return_falseWould it be viable to send a wind turbine which will be propelled by wind during a lift to space? Will it be able to produce significant amount of electricity while in space?

last one of those ...

@tylerl there's gotta be a meta question on that somewhere. and if there isn't, I wonder how no one's come up with that

I decided to go with "unclear..."
@tylerl funny thing is, I think I know where to look for it

4:26 AM
@TildalWave There needs to be an alternate expansion of the acronym. "Without Thorough Foundation"

@tylerl yeah that could do it, gotta have backup in case of complaints :)

I wonder when crypto will get out of beta... 959 days is a long time.

@TerryChia not the worst tho, there's older ones in beta
and the C love letter might be this: cise.ufl.edu/~manuel/obfuscate/westley.hint

@TildalWave Hahaha! That's pretty cool.

@TerryChia for some reason, it reminded me of @kalina and @simon :)

5:04 AM

5:19 AM
you guys have xkcd hooked up as a feed?? my heros

5:36 AM
gotta hit refresh tho, it's rendered for 15 minute intervals and if you had the chat opened from before, that's what time it'll show

Almost disappointed he didn't make a 24h gif.

@FEichinger you can make it, but why would you?
it would be like having animated gif of a clock, it wouldn't really tell time

@FEichinger I like to have bandwidth available while I'm downloading GIFs, thankyouverymuch!

If it wasn't so terrifying it might just be hysterical.

Wow. This is actually terrifically useful. I wonder if I can't get it as my desktop background.

5:45 AM
the gif frame interval is maximum of 32767 / 100s so it would have to have a frame about each 5.5 minutes, so that's 264 frames ... each probably about 100 kB ... too much. And not to mention that caching would be a nightmare, with 263 separate such gifs

This Monday is going to be xkcd.com/1337/ Presumably it's going to be something special.
Because Randall wouldn't miss something like that.

@tylerl That's exactly what they want you to think.

@DavidFreitag that mostly applies only to the US, it's not so bad elsewhere really

@TildalWave Just another reason why i don't need to be here for very much longer

@TildalWave The PNG is 260kB each frame, actually. I did say "almost" for a reason.

5:49 AM
@DavidFreitag I enjoy the fact that "The Internet" and "ISPs in the United States" is roughly the same concept.

@FEichinger Well it only uses 16 colors, so that's a chance for some compression. Sadly, gif isn't really doing any compression frame to frame.

@TildalWave He could convert all of the gif's into one video file, then use a desktop manager with the capability to set video files as a background
@tylerl Seriously.

@DavidFreitag Really? Where are you off to?

@TildalWave England most likely. But i may end up in a transfer program in Germany or something like that. Definitely Europe.

@DavidFreitag Who do you work for? (presuming this is a work thing)

5:52 AM
@DavidFreitag ah so you're looking for student exchange thingies? cool

ah, student?

@TildalWave Nah, not a work think. I work for a little mom'n'pop manufacturing company.
Yep. About to finish up my associates in computer science

I think you'll find that moving just trades one bag of problems for another. You may like one bag more than another one, but everywhere has serious issues.

@tylerl ty for the answer, not sure why the question got downvoted though

@LucasKauffman yeah. not sure what that's about

5:54 AM
@tylerl That's certainly true. I know there are probably things I'm overlooking, but I've always wanted to move to Europe

@DavidFreitag Lived there for any measurable amount of time?

@LucasKauffman perhaps the one with the downvoted answer? he has enough rep to downvote

@tylerl probably not

@tylerl Where? Europe? Nope, never been. It's why I've been considering going for school to get my head on straight before making any life-changing decisions.

@TildalWave it was downvoted before there were any answers.

5:56 AM
@TildalWave ah some kind of revenge downvote, I'm colleteral since I didn't downvote it :p

ah, then i dunno
nvm it's actually a fair question, so I'm upvoting it
that must be a first for @LucasKauffman :))
joking

@DavidFreitag "Europe" is quite diverse, living in Denmark is completely different from living in Italy.
@TildalWave ^^

Jeebus:

@LucasKauffman It's the diversity that is so appealing to me. If i tried really hard i could breakfast in France and then dinner in the Italian riviera.

@speedRS No. Go read the spec. — tylerl 18 secs ago
why do people ask questions like that?

5:58 AM
@DavidFreitag and you'd be driving the rest of the day :p

@LucasKauffman well so is US, living in NC is quite different to living in TX

if you wonder how things work, and there's a document that explains how it works...

@LucasKauffman That's the "try really hard" part :]

@tylerl Why bother reading a 10 page document when you can ask on an internet forum and have helpful people summarize the thing for you?

@DavidFreitag That's some travelling. One thing I found is the US has more cultural diversity within a given area. EU has more diversity overall, but you have to travel to experience it.

5:59 AM
Get me a koenigsegg or something

@TerryChia and sometimes even giving you the whole code for your specific case.

@tylerl Yeah, but i look forward to the traveling aspect of finding the diversity

@Adnan Indeed! Amazing isn't it?

@DavidFreitag If you can afford a koenigsegg, you can move to europe tomorrow

@DavidFreitag so you'd be looking for a flat in Monaco ... good luck :D

6:00 AM
@TildalWave ^this

@TildalWave Hahahaha - don't be silly i don'y have 10 million dollars or even the escrow account that it needs to be in!

Try to find Chinese restaurant in Italy. You will be disappointed.

@LucasKauffman To be honest, moving to Europe isn't that expensive.

@tylerl You know where the best Chinese restaurants are? China.

@Adnan no, but if he has that money he wouldn't have to wait :p

6:01 AM
@tylerl I live in America - I've had enough crappy fake Chinese food for four lifetimes.

@LucasKauffman True true.

@DavidFreitag Not enough Cat in your food?

@TerryChia That's something that really surprised me in the hawker markets, they actually have stands saying: "western food"

@LucasKauffman The wait isn't about money. If i was desperate enough all i would need is money for a plane ticket

@DavidFreitag Acquire some cash, fetch plane tickets, come to Finland for free education. They loooove Americans here.

6:02 AM
@tylerl Too much one might say
@Adnan That sounds really appealing, considering that Helsinki is probably one of the biggest Computer Science friendly areas in the world

@DavidFreitag that, sentence in a jeremy clarkson voice

@LucasKauffman Heh. POWAAAAAAAH!

@david psh, come to India, you'll learn the true meaning of fake Chinese food

@DavidFreitag Honestly, Europeans make jokes about Americans being stupid all the time. In reality, though, they love them.
@DavidFreitag Finns love to say they have an American friend. Ooooh.. American.

I was in a physics lab the other day, we are on 1-dimensional kinematics and one of the problems was about a drag race between a Porsche and a VW beetle

6:05 AM
Companies love to advertise they they have employees from the States... ooooh.. American.

So i yelled out "POWAAAAAH!" in a very Clarkson-esque voice. Nobody got it...
@Adnan The problem is that those jokes are so true

@Adnan In Italy everybody has a cousin in New Jersey. If all you had to go on was the reports of Italians, you'd assume 80% of the US lived in New Jersey.

@DavidFreitag Hey hey HEEEY.. stop this shit.

@DavidFreitag Everywhere has stupid people. Set your filter for dumb, you get dumb. It works everywhere.

@Adnan No - not me. Americans.

6:06 AM
@DavidFreitag STOP IT!
God damn it!

Most americans I met here are nice

I fucking despise this

@Adnan to be fair, we don't know which jokes you had in mind

> Oh, I'm having problems in my life because my people suck.

@LucasKauffman Same here. And I live in Arizona.
So that's a pretty big sample size.

6:07 AM
@LucasKauffman I concur.

Ok, fine. Of the people i know i would classify at least 80% of them to be unintelligent. Of the remaining 20% half of them are regular people and the other half are ridiculously intelligent.

If I wanted to generalize, then I guess the best thing about Americans (that's rarely true for Europeans) is that they speak their mind. I like honesty and detest beating around the bush.

@DavidFreitag In a normal sample of any social circle (including mine), I'd say I have a similar distribution.

europeans are sometimes too polite

Generally, when you're below 30 and you want to have a "below-30 social life", those are the kinds of people who will be around you.

6:09 AM
@DavidFreitag Of the people I meet day-to-day, most are courteous, smile at you, wave at your kids, open doors for you. Now I can't say I'd want to be married to any of them, but people in general are pretty reasonable.

@LucasKauffman true... suspiciously so sometimes

> Here, take ziiis cake. For free. No poison.

I remember my first comments to living in Romania... "everyone is so nice and smiling all the time"
yeah, that changed in under a month :)

@TildalWave and electricity cables everywhere.

@Adnan huh?

6:12 AM
@TildalWave Oh god, in Bucharest. Overhead electricity cables were all over the city.

@tylerl It's not really about people in America being stupid or Europe being so appealing. It's mostly that i have always wanted to do it.

@Adnan ah there yes, but I didn't live in Bucharest, I was at the Black Sea

@DavidFreitag Fantastic. I actually encourage you to move and live in new places. But please don't do it because people around you are stupid.

@Adnan Nah, half of me wants to stay so i can lord my intelligence over everyone here.

@DavidFreitag Yeah, that only works if you're attractive, or VERY intelligent.

6:14 AM
@Adnan Actually, now that I get what you meant, it's a good point. If you look at utilities infrastructure, you can get a good overview of how "friendly" people really are to each other. If nobody shares anything, then something must be fishy.

@Adnan I can't exactly say I'm either of those things. But i can say that I'm at least working towards the latter of the two.

@DavidFreitag You once claimed you're gigantically tall. With enough determination and a 2-3 years of work, you can acquire the first one as well.

number of manholes on roads for example ... like in my country, 20 houses on one street and 200 shafts ... that says a lot

@TildalWave That sentence is very... I don't know how describe it.

@Adnan I wouldn't say gigantically tall. I'm just shy of 6'1", which, at least, here is average.
@TildalWave Oh dear.

6:16 AM
@Adnan google "manhole" dude, it's not what you probably think it is

@DavidFreitag Oh dear, compared to me, that's gigantic.
3

@Adnan A friend of mine is 6'7" now that's gigantic.

@DavidFreitag Dude, I'm barely 5' 6".

@DavidFreitag Oh it's still OK here, most people are actually "Canadian friendly", I've seen a lot worse

Anything that starts with 6', to me is gigantic.

6:20 AM
@Adnan I'm about 6'1" if I converted it correctly
what's 185 cm in feet and inches?
(I used to be a bit taller but that's age for you LOL)

@TildalWave Yeah, that's about that.
Life is quite shitty if you're below 6'.
But, meh, you get used to it and you make the best out of it.

@Adnan it all equals out in bed ;)

@TildalWave Umm... no.

I don't really see height being a problem until 4'6" or less and 7' or more...

6:23 AM
I've been there. No.

@DavidFreitag so lmgtfy, such wow, thanks! :)

@DavidFreitag Oh, dear lord. I have tons of stories on that.

@TildalWave And no - that's totally not true. My feet hang off the end of my bed

Trust me, being in the 5' does matter.

@Adnan Midgets?
Oh, do tell.

6:24 AM
@DavidFreitag it is true, you're just counting excess :P
remove that, count only what's on the bed

@TildalWave Yeah, who needs feet anyway? From now on you can call me Stumpy.

@DavidFreitag I don't really know what to tell. It's just the general perception. People perceive taller people as more confident and successful. I've been sexually rejected many times primarily based on my height (although the facial configuration played some role, but it was mainly the height).

sorry, first one wasn't the right one

The way people deal with you in the work place

6:27 AM
@Adnan That doesn't apply here. You're confident if you're confident. You can be 7 feet tall but if you can't make eye contact you aren't getting laid ever.

@DavidFreitag Ummm.
Ahhh
Dude, please re-read my message in a non YouTube-comment-reading style.

@Adnan it can also be an advantage, say if you're an astronaut

@Adnan Are confused.

smaller = lighter = cheaper

@TildalWave :D

6:29 AM
I mean cheaper in a good way here

@DavidFreitag People generally perceive taller people as more confident and successful.
Just because some tall awkward dudes can't get laid, that doesn't change anything.

easier to design for, less space used, less consumables used, cheaper to launch
and still same work done

Being tall doesn't automagically make you successful
But it sure does help

@TildalWave What. The fuck. Am i listening to.

@DavidFreitag c'mon you must have heard of Frank Zappa before

6:30 AM
@DavidFreitag Typical Zappa.

@TildalWave I have heard of him. I just never heard him.

@DavidFreitag Every song. Exactly the same.

@DavidF Now, look. I'm not complaining about it. I have a nice and successful working life, great social life, and in a very loving relationship. However, would being taller have made my life easier? Absolutely yes.

@Adnan How?

@Adnan Several relationships, if what you've said before is true.

6:32 AM
@DavidFreitag think "Al Yankovic" but a decade before and better

@tylerl Well, one of them is very loving. And I'm working on making it the only one.

@TildalWave Ever so slightly better than awful is still awful

@DavidFreitag People just treat you differently. Better. Just like being white as opposed to being black in pretty much every part of the western world. (although on a much different scale)

@DavidFreitag well he did teach a whole generation not to eat the yellow snow :)

@Adnan I don't really think that follows here. At least from my experience people are either going to be nice or they aren't.

6:35 AM
@DavidFreitag You talk about "here" as it's a different planet. How deep is your actual social experience?

@TildalWave You would think humans would have some sort of genetic predisposition to not eat the yellow snow by then, but oh well...
@Adnan Well culturally speaking i would say there is probably a huge difference

@DavidFreitag clearly you haven't been alive in the 80's :)))

It's just this is how it works. Attractive and tall people are treated better in pretty much every culture.

@TildalWave Nope, i was born on a balmy January morning in 1992.

That's us, as human beings.
Yeah, it's nice to think we look past those shallow exterior stuff, but we don't.

6:39 AM
I just don't feel like I'm being treated any better than any of my shorter cohorts.

@DavidFreitag Are other factors controlled? Attractiveness, intelligence, personality type, social class, etc?
I doubt

@Adnan Nope, we are all seriously poor college students of roughly the same level of intelligence. There are obviously differences in personality but there aren't any outliers.
The biggest difference would probably be attractiveness but i don't typically grade my friends by rank based on how attractive they are.

@DavidFreitag and that's a huuuge factor.
Amazing beings, we are.

Man, I used to play pro basketball and let me tell you with my height I was small compared to most others. I swear I could probably walk on water if I wore some of their shoes, they were bloody canoes.

Well, to be honest, I'm a bit biased in being unbiased (yeah, I just made that up). I take a very inhuman look at those interactions. I see those things objectively. Sadly, that makes me miss out on the true human connection stuff.
Ahh.. good, but sad.
At least I think it should be sad.

6:47 AM
that's just a poor excuse really

You really aren't missing anything. At least from my experience.

@DavidFreitag you meant to say "from my perspective"?? :)))

@DavidFreitag Oh, but I am missing. Imagine a person right in front of your eyes, kissing you and telling you "I love you". Then you reply. Knowing deep down inside that you'll never ever be able to feel it.
It sucks.

@Adnan I couldn't imagine it

are we still talking of the same thing?

6:49 AM
Morning

morning

@DavidFreitag Me neither.
I wonder how it would be to actually have an emotional connection to something, someone.

@Adnan when did we switch from height to empathy?

You'd have to fake grief in order to console your grieving mother. Pinch yourself to cry in sad situations.

@Adnan So you mean to tell me that if your parents died in a fire tonight that you wouldn't feel anything?

6:51 AM
@TildalWave I mentioned that I'm missing out on human connection things. @David said I'm not really missing out on anything.

@Adnan ah, yes, I disagree then (I like to take sides :)

@DavidFreitag I'd think about who's gonna take care of my little sister.
Anything more? I don't think so.

That's pretty crazy.

but that is empathy then, albeit fairly limited

@Adnan Well, there's only one way to find out!

6:53 AM
I've already lived the death of loved ones. Those experiences shocked me.
I was shocked by how emotionless they were to me.
Ah, there must be some chat room for shit like that. I don't want to bother you guys here with this kind of stuff.

@Adnan but what you're saying is that you're shellshocked, and that's closer to PTSD than being emotionless

@Adnan is that a "social" thing in Finland? I always thought finish people (and people from the north) have little empathy

@DavidFreitag xkcd.com/842

@kiBytes Nope, I don't think Finland is full of sociopaths

@TildalWave I don't think so. I was shocked only after I started thinking about why those experiences didn't feeL anything.

6:56 AM
security.stackexchange.com/questions/52279/… xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

@kiBytes I don't think so. Also, I'm not Finnish.

@kiBytes That makes my brain hurt... make it stop!

"Tin foil hat (six layer) doesn't help"

@kiBytes Brilliant!

Weird. Ubuntu keeps telling me something about a failure to retrieve a GString

7:00 AM
@Adnan Dunno, I've clearly seen you react emotionally to certain stuff, so I just can't agree on that, at least not to the severity that you're describing. From what you're saying it sounds almost as if you were completely devoid of emotions, numb if you will, and I don't believe that's the case. You probably wouldn't have any need being here if that was the case. People like that tend to be lethargic.

@TildalWave Oh no, I do have emotional reactions. I get angry, upset, and frustrated. I'm in noway devoid of emotions.
As for deeper things, I've learned to fake. I became very good at it.

@adnan I can't see a problem there as long as you don't have a problem with that

@kiBytes When it comes down to it, I actually don't have a problem with that.

@kiBytes "This question appears to be offtopic because OP is badshit insane"

@Adnan that is great =)

7:04 AM
@kiBytes Alright. Let's party!

I'll get the keg

@DavidFreitag I don't why, but keg parties aren't a thing in Finland.

@Adnan I'm not sure whether that's unfortunate or not...

So... apparently Frank Zappa did the voice of a minor character for a Ren & Stimpy episode.
so... that's ... hm.

7:06 AM
@DavidFreitag it is unfortunate but, on the other hand they have "sauna parties" so, it's covered

Because on one hand it's quite fun to have a pint upside down, but on the other hand it really sucks to pray to the porcelain god.

@TildalWave r u the architect? — kiBytes 33 secs ago
@kiBytes huh?

(Ok, I will make the gif stop)

@kiBytes Sauna, and then party, that's okay. 'Sauna party' sounds something very bad. Sauna is a place to find peace and relaxation. It's almost sacred.

@TildalWave have you seen the Matrix? The part of the "causality and correlation part"?
@Adnan so many myths are falling down today... I believed nord people go drink at saunas and it somewhat a party
(I can't remove the gif...)

7:09 AM
@kiBytes I don't recall it, I've tried to watch that movie several times, but I always fell asleep on it.

@kiBytes Well yeah, it's okay to drink in the sauna. But no partying or any indecent behaviour.

@Adnan Indecent behavior? You're all naked...
Smacking each other with a branch...

@DavidFreitag :O Being completely naked in the sauna while smacking your friends with leaves isn't an indecent behaviour!!
4
I must say, it's a bit different with young people.

@Adnan In America you could be put in prison for getting naked in a sauna. They have a special cell for those who elect to bring the branch.

I've been once at a sauna party where a couple of girls where performing fellatio on a few guys.

7:12 AM
> Actually, Not only them, I'm facing very strange things on my Mac, brain, body(hurts like knife in my body and lobe) since last September and also noise into my lobe and got some logs.
Wow that guy's F'ed

@tylerl Or a very meticulous troll.

@kiBytes BTW I think he needs a psychiatrist more than a psycologist ;)

@tylerl Are we talking Lincoln logs?

@TildalWave you are right but most people won't accept going to a psychiatrist directly so "psycologist" sounds better

-1
Q: What will be a method I'm facing strange phenomenum

user3171796I would like to know what will be a method to attack me and protection way to keep secure my any data as much as I can. I'm facing strange phenomenon in below. Strange phenomenon(not only these): When I type character using keyboard on any application I can not type some specific character s...

that guy

7:13 AM
@tylerl Yes i know - it was a joke

> In fact, even if you don't do the other two things I suggest you going to a psycologist.
@kiBytes Brilliant!

And with THAT. I think it's time for me to off to bed.
SEE! This is why I'm not supposed to read StackExchange at night. — tylerl 44 secs ago
Why are all the crazy people in asia?

@TerryChia xD

@tylerl That's racist.

@kiBytes he should make an appointment with the latter for dyslexia and he'll be referred to the former then for clinical insanity :)

7:17 AM
@TerryChia I don't think so.

@TerryChia Watch SE during daylight hours in (a) USA, (B) Asia, (C) Europe. See which questions show up.

Good god Batman. It's 2am :|

Had he said "why are all Asia people crazy", I'd have thought it's racist.

No it is not, it 8:17

And THEN tell me I'm racist.

7:17 AM
@kiBytes 9:17 here. Yaay!

@Adnan I wasn't being serious. :P

@TerryChia Oh good. Let''s make out then

@TerryChia Only offended cause of where he lives ;)

@TildalWave well dont forget, this applies to any sites hosted in the US, too...

7:18 AM
@Adnan I'll get some popcorn

ok. night.

@TerryChia Oh well, never hurts to ask.
@tylerl Night.

@AviD true

@Adnan keep that attitude and your love live is SURE to get interesting

@Adnan Unless a girl slaps you in the face.

7:19 AM
@AviD and good morning

@Adnan That was a question?

indeed!

Or @kalina sets you on fire.

@TerryChia Sometimes that's just the way it starts.

@tylerl I have indeed faced the consequences of asking.. many times.

7:20 AM
@Adnan perhaps it's not the height after all

@TerryChia I'm not gonna walk up to a stranger and ask her/him to kiss me.

maybe it's teh approach

@tylerl Good night, Tyler.
@DavidFreitag "Make out with me?"

:)

Isn't it great all this people around the world trying to roll their own crypto?
that means more work for the rest xD

7:21 AM
@tylerl I heard using rophenol is a great approach.
@Adnan That's a bit more like it.

Honestly, it's a lot better to ask than just go ahead and try.

Any of you work as a freelance security consultant even as a side job?

@Adnan Yeah, you could get stabbed for something like that over here.

@kiBytes @AviD does.

@kiBytes what @Adnan said.
seriously chatty in here today.... should I bother trying to catch up?

7:23 AM
No

May I ask what is your experience working with clients? I mean, which type of consultancy are you asked usually for?

Unless me and @Adnan blathering on about our various emotional issues is particularly interesting to you.

Are they usually mature enterprises with challenging problems or more like "hey, we have been told that someone have to have a look to this to be XXXX-compliant"

meh, just lookin at the stars and pikchures

@AviD It's mainly be bitching about my empathy issues.

7:24 AM
@kiBytes Oh boy... here comes another one of @AviD's 30 mins rant on his clients.

@TerryChia a link could do xD

@kiBytes yes.
@TerryChia hehe

@AviD yes to what part?

@kiBytes What's wrong with "we have been told that someone have to have a look to this to be XXXX-compliant"?
Being a newbie freelancer doesn't give you the luxury of picking only the "good" clients.

That is usually a show @Adnan
And I don't have problem in taking any client =)

7:27 AM
After you've racked a portfolio of a few tens of very happy customers, then you can move to being a bit more picky.

@kiBytes its a mixed bag, really. I tend to pull the more mature, challenging projects. On the other hand, a hugely overwhleming preponderance of security consulting projects is either the simple "we need someone to tell us what to do!", "halp an auditor is coming" or just the usual corporate bullshit.
@Adnan this.

@AviD will you dare to throw a percentage?

@Adnan actually, you were complaining about your height before ... and considering your lack of empathy that you later said you suffer ... why would you care? :P

50-50? 20-80?

@Adnan although when I started freelancing, I already had a pretty good name out, due to consulting via big consultancy....
@kiBytes nope.

Another question
Are you required to be on-site?

it also wouldnt help you, it has a lot more to do with location, specific field and specialities, my network, personal preferences, etc, rather than an absolute value.

@TildalWave I hope you're being funny at this point. Empathy has nothing to do with wanting more of life, wanting better things, and wanting to be better and better.

What is this 20 questions? You know these chats are here specifically to not be helpful.

"My name is AviD. I'm a tigger. Ask me anything."

@Adnan well if you had to ask if I was being funny, then I clearly wasn't ... but yeah, I was being a dick for the comic effect

@kiBytes ah. Most of the corporate types do expect that, and often create situations ("No documents leave the premises!") where its the only way to work. Personally I avoid it, to the point of nearly refusing to work onsite (except for meetings, and few other exceptions).
But that's just me, I'm spoiled, and can afford to be picky.
Just turned down a huge project from a huge billing software vendor because of this.
whelp, gtg - bbl.

@TerryChia Ahh.. I've started with Reddit a few month ago. There are so many of these.

Well, I believe I will need to make this landing page in Spanish but Spain and security is painful and it is mostly a show everywhere...
I don't even know why Spanish enterprises hire CISO...
Ok, let's do some work
c u later
