My application utilizes many libraries that each require their own configurations.
For example, both Hibernate and Apache Shiro requires me to specify database connection details in the configuration files of each library. Is there any method of centralizing these values into a single file, XML ...
This is a follow-up question to an answer I gave a few days back. Edit: it seems that the OP of that question already used the code I posted to him to ask the same question, but I was unaware of it. Apologies. The answers provided are different though!
Substantially I observed that:

@LucasKauffman configuring a firewall/VPN for someone, the SSL VPN implentation doesn't support windows 8, most of the client computers are windows 8....
@LucasKauffman heh I did consider running openvpn on an rpi at home, but apparently the crypto performance isn't stellar so went with the option of a VM running OpenVPN access manager instead....
@Raymond That avatar is actually against the rules, you aren't allowed to use an SE logo. You should change it, otherwise it will be changed by a mod/admin along with a nasty message.
exactly my thoughts ... The other day when I rented a server they asked me a scan of my ID. After arguing a lot I had to do it anyways I suspect that every provider would ask for it
@HamZa anyone who offers 'anonymous money' will find themselves swamped by criminals. In general, the legitimate institutions try very hard to keep track of who is spending money.
@Gilles No. I lack a dozen bronze tag badges, and also two silver tag badges (appsec and web-application). I have all five gold tag badges which have been awarded so far.
When I Google-Image "Thomas Pornin", the first the result is someone playing with snow balls, the second one is an artsy black&white picture of the same person, and the third result is a picture of five ladies playing with each other's breasts.
The results after that are a mixture of @RoryA, mushroom, Osama sex video, and dolls screwing each others on pumpkins.
The snowball juggler is me; the photo was taken on top of a mountain near Innsbrück, Austria, where Eurocrypt 2001 took place (12 years ago). I am at that time demonstrating my resilience to coldness, and my ability to juggle four balls.
@PeeHaa Personally, I use Ubuntu because I like the release schedule. Debian stable's packages are almost always too old and obsolete, while testing's packages are too new. The 6-months schedule of Ubuntu strikes a middle-ground which befits my taste.
@Iszi If it made the speaker cackle, it would be a worse sign.

While this link may answer the question, it is better to include the essential parts of the answer here and provide the link for reference. Link-only answers can become invalid if the linked page changes. — TildalWave7 mins ago
@Adnan Yes, OK... but it's still a link only answer, and the author could include why he thinks it's great,... I mean, I could go on about what's great and how everyone should trust me in my answers, but I'd only come out as some Nigerian con scheme, wouldn't I?
@TildalWave Not a solution. The question itself is soliciting that kind of answers. Like @Gilles said, it should be closed and kept for its historical value.
@Tildal Also, since you feel that way about the answers. Downvote them and flag them for mod attention.
and the question is probably off-topic too... it would be before, when we had "too localized" VTC and since many of the links don't really lead to where they were meant to when posted, that kinda proves my point... Personally, I'd be fine with it if all the answers were converted into a single community wiki that's actually maintained
@Adnan then tell that to whoever flagged that answer only... flag the question, I honestly don't have the time to form a coherent opinion of it at the time
Anyway, I think it should be a blog post and updated to be current, add our CTF efforts into it, e.t.c...
