8:00 PM
Now Hiring

@JeffFerland I'm pretty sure they're not looking for people like me. They probably need people who can actually do things.

@JeffFerland Alright, so I want my PA, who has to be @ScottPack.

Great! Now that video put me in the insecure self-hating position.
Wow! Way to go, Facebook.

@Adnan Sigh.

I'm now more likely to go to Facebook to see that I have friends, and look at the ads.

8:01 PM
@Adnan I really don't want to work for facebook.
No matter how good their videos are.

@DavidFreitag Why not?
It's a cool place, I hear.

Google or NASA on the other hand? Makes me drool every time.

and they pay quite well.

Last time I checked, Google doesn't pay you that well unless you're a special little boy.

I'm not in it for the money

8:03 PM
@Simon Vatican too

@Adnan You think you're cool, but are you 3 pairs of sunglasses, one of which is upside down, cool?

@DavidFreitag I'm curious, what about Google that isn't Facebook?

@DavidFreitag GTFO!
Please don't tell me you want to make change in the world and make it a better place blah blah blah?

@JeffFerland From what i understand, Facebook is pretty much software work. At google they do both Hardware and Software, which is what i want to do. Beside that i just don't like facebook in general.
@Adnan Oh huh? Fuck that, i just want to have fun designing things in some hole somewhere

I bet you get laid like 10,000 times a day when you work at Facebook.

8:05 PM
@Simon Let's ask @Jeff

Hey @JeffFerland, how many times a day do you get laid?

Although, i know that 99% of the work at Google is software, but that mean's it isn't in my top five list, but it is in my top ten.

@Simon sigh
You actually asked!

@Adnan You told me to!

@Adnan This is simon we're talking about.

8:06 PM
@Simon The vest adds an extra 30%.

@ScottPack Sick.
Time to go back home, see ya my best m8s.

@Simon Between 0 and 10 depending on the day. My employer is a non-factor is this.

@JeffFerland Did my answer satisfy your curiosity?

@DavidFreitag Yup.

I don't know, for non-consultancy probably google or facebook
for consultancy, probably BCG or Mckinsey

8:17 PM
@LucasKauffman Whoa! Heard a lot about Mckinsey

@Adnan I was actually on their list for Mckinsey solutions
but there isn't any client contact in that

Not that i would even fit in at either Google or Facebook, I'm the classic engineer with his head buried in datasheets with a soldering iron and a telescoping head-mounted magnifying eyepiece.

it's a cool company though

@LucasKauffman Too bad they don't have much IT work (security) in Finland

@DavidFreitag They're building a Tesla museum.

8:20 PM
@Adnan the only security they have was from a defensive point of view

@ScottPack They who?

@LucasKauffman Still nice, career-wise.

of course

@DavidFreitag The Tesla Museum people!!

@ScottPack Oh... well awesome, thanks for the info

8:22 PM
Ah, enough JavaScript for me today. Time to go home. Night, everybody.

1 hour later…
9:33 PM
@Adnan I just checked it and that's the function I wanted to. Now I just gotta make sure it doesn't kill itself.

10:32 PM
I think this question might need to be protected.

Q: Could SQRL really be as secure as they say?

Wayne WernerI just came across https://www.grc.com/sqrl/sqrl.htm With Secure QR Login, your phone snaps the QR code displayed on a website's login page . . . . and YOU are securely logged in. This seems like it would be pretty awesome - one of the problems that I can think of is if the QR reader i...

We seem to have attracted a host of brand new users who feel that a variation on "Don't be mean to Steve Gibson" is an acceptable answer to the question.

10:59 PM
@adnan what are you talking about ?

11:16 PM
Came here... looked around... noticed I was talking to myself... decided to leave again.
Cheers to all anyway! ;)

@Xander Done
@e-sushi You can talk to me, I'm great with talking, especially with new people. You can ask @kalina
@M'vy Could you please tell me your "Helpful flags" count?

@Adnan Thank you sir.
