This Projector lens has such amazing qualities to it. Got to work on trying to get it a little sharper but still. That's completely unedited, outside... in a bush. In front of other plants and buildings and such.
i find that small flowers and leaves can be very sensitive to slight breezes or atmospheric crap. you might be able to eliminate some of that halo with a faster speed
or maybe it's just that the depth of field is so thin lol. really impressive
trying to find facial muscles in use and surprisingly there aren't many resources for it aside from naming the muscles of the face... my emoji muscles chart idea might actually be a good idea!
this is the best i could find...and it isn't that great
there are a few diagrams on there but I'm looking for muscles in use...i.e. contractions for smiling, frowning etc... my obsessive study is quite frightening when i think about it lol
and they say knowledge is free...100 dollars for the book
@johnp hey there was a book that showed all the muscles in the face i remeber reading while studying animation. IT had a atlas of all muscles separately.
@johnp But here you are basically complaining about why pay for design. The images are exceptionally nice and the crowd interested will be quite narrow. So I imagine the costs are too
I know the muscles pretty well already but I'm interested in what muscles are activated for different expressions. For example, the risorius muscle contracts to result in an insincere smile if the zygomaticus major and minor don't contract also
I think this is actually a field in psychology...mentalism(?) - reading facial expresssions
Fine. The outer window pane on my work window broke because of inadequate shielding at the construction just outside our office when they were doing demolitions work.
Other than that i have been mainitaining the equiplent and building h-bridges.
Hmm cold.... I always say I'd like to move somewhere warmer but I do love the drudgery and misery of winter here lol. I must visit Scandinavia at some point
Ah, that makes more sense actually :P Ireland's army would be much smaller...peace keeping missions with the UN flooding patrols and that sort of thing
They've been involved a lot in the refugee rescue missions
It would be nice if the country would actually take on more refugees, however.
just doing the head & neck mainly thus far, but I want to study expressions so I can construct frowny people lol. So where did you go again on your travels, the states?
thanks...i messed up on the side view at the eye and here and there, but it serves to learn the muscles i guess...im hoping if i draw it often enough it'll drill into my pea-brain
i know what you mean...yeah photoshop's stitching feature...not sure i ever used it before
Needs a new rear fender. Can't tell if the underlying support was bent at all
When I realized the car behind me wasn't going to stop I sped up as best I could and the person did turn right to try and avoid me but they hit the back right side
Then after they turned right they just kept going :\
really its about Dividends. We get 60,000 visitors a day. If you answer enough questions well that are also popular chances are there's a few visitors a day looking at it so you can put in less work at that point and still be receiving payoffs
What I meant was, I'm curious as to what these super efficient people are like in their daily lives
I envy people like that. There's this illustrator I follow - Archan Nair. He churns out work like a factory... I live in hope for the day I'm that productive
I kind of mentioned it to you before - the question about using liquify on a drawing...I tried frequency separation but it doesn't work that well as some of the linework gets caught up in the frequency if that makes sense... I'll grab a screenshot
@Vincent nice! I'm trying to figure out how to get to Santa Cruz when I'm in San Jose in January. Its looking more expensive than I expected so not sure if I'll be able to stay like I had hoped
@Ryan So I'm trying to liquify the sketch to fix some proportions/improve symmetry. I'm trying frequency separation to maintain the texture but as the linework is dark, it's getting picked up on the paper texture (high freq. ) layer - see left eye overlay
the person I contacted on AirBNB had an amazing place in Santa Cruz marked at $40/night I was going to jump at. When I contacted them they apologized saying it shouldn't be up at all yet for those dates and when they do put up its $90 a night :(
oh. Probably easier to just scan or photograph however you put it into the computer a blank piece of the same paper you're using and reapply the texture if you need to
but give me a few and Ill see if I can come up with a solution without having to do that
@JohnB Took this one for you. It's a shop in a farmer's market, completely dedicated to various hot sauces. I'm afraid you'd all find them terribly bland ;)
the much needed work lamp i ordered is stuck on a cargo ship due to some workers strike ¬_¬ even though I was notified that it was dispatched... I have a bad case of the frownies
@johnp if you ordered from amazon you can try to get a shipping refund. I managed to get it for the extension tubes I ordered because they were a day late
the retailer wont even have the lamp till the 19th...and there's a cheaper prime seller now with one day delivery....i hope they gimme a refund and cancellation
currently have 3 spotlights working out of 10 in the kitchen xD
Looking through some publications I get a few of them all get illustrations from there. One seems to have even contacted an artist on it for a commission piece when they couldn't find something for the article
