hmm when I condense the page (make the window smaller) I'm working on it behaves strangely and then when i make the window full screen again it continues to behave strangely. Never seen something like this :\

When I run out of ideas I like to do things like booze, sex, go to the beach, read, write, paint, sculpt, dance, travel. My mind has never been expanded less then when trying to force expansion while stuck.

People think its a joke, but seriously. Go enjoy life. Can't be creative without experiencing the world in my opinion. There's entire books and scholarly research to support this too
@Yisela Correct me if I'm wrong but in the last few years haven't you been to New Zealand, Germany, Argentina... that's not exactly bad
@Vincent Not sure which devices it's out for, and if you own a 3rd party like Samsung how noticeable it is. I'm on Google Nexus. They released it for Nexus 9 and now the other ones as well (I'm on 5)
I did my homework and didn't want to be leasing my phone. Cheapest way to own it outright was to buy direct. If after two years I want a new one, I'll buy direct again and sell or use this one for art projects. If I keep it for longer though it still works: play.google.com/store/devices

I can't help but feel that Google is infringing on my work--it's creating al these styles and guides, and every client and their sister will want me to 'do it like Google's material design, but then a bit different'. Forgetting that I'm perfectly capable of creating my own style and colour palette.
and finally, when you master Material, Jobszilla comes up with a new style for their new line of machines, and everyone will want us to design juuuuust like that.
@Yisela Already have it as a .pdf, trying to get it all online. Realized I was was working that I might be taking the wrong approach so now trying to figure the right approach out
@Yisela Oh don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to being inspired by what I see. But with especially google documenting their styles publicly instead of hogging them as private property, everyoone is going to expect you to use it.
I don't see any harm in having them both separated and together, as long as you keep it consistent in your navigation
@Vincent Yes, but I think it happens with other bosses as well, right? When I was working for a microsoft partner everything had to be Windows 8, Segoe, blocks
@Vincent thats funny cause I was just thinking about this while eating breakfast this morning --- Google prides itself on being free and open source but really the vast majority of its stuff is closed, proprietary. Nobody gets to know their SERP Algorithm. You can't truly hack Lollipop or Chrome however you want. They provide APIs to develop with, but not the source to do whatever you want to.
The only thing on Lollipop I'm not sold on is the Calendar. The week view was changed so you only see 5 days at a time. It's a little weird. Might actually be better once I get used to it though, too early to tell
