my work is pretty fine. Not many deadlines, nice jobs, and some challenging ones too. I'm probably going to make a glossy magazine, and I'm stoked for that :)

@Vincent the first time is always the hardest man! I hate the dentist. Not only the pain - but they always make me feel miserable about my hygiene. It's never "Good job" Always, wow you suck and need to do better.

Thanks. Third is silver colored and I usually thought golden color is associated with elegant decorative items.

It is. Black isn't though. You might try gold foil on a very, very dark purple stock if you're able to.

Third, but with the disclaimer that I'm not personally a big fan of gold

the open leaves on #1 are too much imho

and I disagree with Ryan's statement on black

matte black is very decorative to me. If you'd go for matte deep dark <any colour>, it'd get a more conservative feel to me

Rich purples have a long history of status used by Emperors and Royalty because of how hard it was too make originally.

yeah, the story of the roman way of making purple dye. Good point

black is also neutral and therefore classy. It would allow the eye to be drawn to the logo, instead of a dark purple that would draw some attention to itself.

TBH I really don't like the ripple effect on most buttons

it's more like 'look what I can do', instead of something that benefits the user

as long as web designers think they are circus animals who need to perform tricks, users and customers won't take them seriously.

Q: Material Design tag?

Google's Material Design style is a thing, and we're getting a slowly rising number of questions relating to it. It's something people can be experts it, and something people can have no interest in. Sounds like what tags are for. Should it have a tag? Likewise for other real, defined styles, ...

You need to take your time focusing, the focal range si very very tiny

it does not matter the 70 series is soft, they all look soft on pixel level

you run a smart sharpen of 1.0 pix

the lense is on PURPOSE soft to eliminate moire

Yes the pro cameras are softer in pixel res. the lens codec does NOT sharpern like home cameras do

Did you shoot that on canon or Nikon.

Second your autofocus is a bit adjusted up microadjust it forward slightly

autofocus with aperture priority and point focus in middle

@joojaa No, the extenders stop the lens from communicating with the camera.

I can't change my aperture either, I have to take the lens off the extenders and put it in the camera, so so painful.

ah yes then you do focus and pan, you put a focus and then you MOVE the focus with the camera pan

So dont focus by turning focus by moving.

@joojaa I just use my zoom lens since I can focus by zooming.
