This is something Apple has never had to deal with.
As much as I hate Apple's closed platforms, there is an undeniable advantage to vertical integration.
Obviously, as a computer designed by Microsoft, Surface is better in this regard, but that doesn't account for the myriad combinations of hardware and software that users run Windows with.

Hi, Firefox 42 on Windows 7 64 has about 85 threads as of now (I have 15 tabs open). Where can I find information about threading logic of FF? I am looking for high level info and don't want to sift through code. Thanks.
One of the big practical issues I'm trying to deal with (and I don't think I've mentioned this before) is the need to check every action individually. This means that every little action needs to be checked, which would greatly impede everyday activities like chatting.
I talked about hubris before. Knowing that something is hard to do correctly and trying to do it anyway (even with added checks) isn't exactly the best idea.
